System and method for delivering a therapy and sensing a biological activity in the mouth
Methods, devices, and systems are disclosed for controlled delivery of a therapy, such as a stimulant, to a mouth of a subject via an oral device positioned in a secured configuration in the mouth. At least one of a tongue position stimulator (TST) and tongue position sensor (TSE) is provided, according to certain aspects. According to another aspect, a stimulus is delivered to the mouth and/or tongue via a mouthpiece secured to the subject's teeth. In another regard, a stimulus is delivered that generates a natural response to eliminate or reduce sleep disorders, such as for example at least one of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

Oscillating positive expiratory pressure device
An oscillating positive expiratory pressure device comprising a housing enclosing at least one chamber, a chamber inlet configured to receive exhaled air into the at least one chamber, and a chamber outlet configured to permit exhaled air to exit the at least one chamber. A channel is positioned in an exhalation flow path between the chamber inlet and the chamber outlet, with the channel being movably connected to a chamber of the at least one chamber. An air flow regulator is movable with respect to the channel between a first position, where the flow of air through the channel is restricted and a second position, where the flow of air through the channel is less restricted, the air flow regulator being configured to repeatedly move between the first position and the second position in response to a flow of exhaled air.

Oscillatory respiratory care apparatus
Described herein is a respiratory care apparatus capable of performing multitude of therapy for secretion management and breath assistance therapy. The respiratory care apparatus comprises an electromechanical air router assembly (EARA) and an interfacing assembly. The EARA includes independent first and second pressure generating sources for assisted inhalation/insufflation and assisted exhalation/exsufflation process. The interfacing assembly includes a patient interface port and a patient interface tube. The and negative pressure at the patient interface port for assisted inhalation/insufflation and assisted exhalation/exsufflation processes respectively. The assisted inhalation/insufflation and assisted exhalation/exsufflation processes are carried out independently through separate conduits/passages to reduce contamination and infection. Further, the respiratory care apparatus comprises a garment which oscillates due to alternate positive and negative pressure generation and provides therapy to the patient.

Dry powder delivery device and methods of use
A dry powder aerosol delivery device and related methods for delivering precise and repeatable dosages to a subject for pulmonary use is disclosed. The dry powder aerosol delivery device includes a housing, a cartridge, and a dry powder dispersion mechanism, and at least one differential pressure sensor. The dry powder delivery device is automatically breath actuated by the user when the differential pressure sensor senses a predetermined pressure change within housing. The dry powder aerosol delivery device is then actuated to generate a plume of particles having an average ejected particle diameter within the respirable size range, e.g., less than about 5-6 μm, so as to target the pulmonary system of the user.
STAINLESS STEEL CAN FOR PRESSURISED METERED DOSE INHALERS
The invention generally refers to a stainless steel can for use in a metered dose inhaler device, containing an aerosol formulation, comprising glycopyrronium bromide and formoterol, or a salt or a solvate thereof, optionally in combination with one or more additional active ingredient, endowed with a high stability.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE FOR INHALATION DEVICE
A method for fabricating an inhalation device includes the steps of disposing a medicament carrier with a first member, the carrier being connected with a layer; engaging a second member with the first member to support the layer therebetween, the second member including a cutting surface and defining a cavity; and translating the carrier relative to the members to dispose the carrier with the cavity and cut the layer about the carrier. In some embodiments, manufacturing systems, manufacturing apparatus, inhalation devices, dispensing devices, and medicaments are disclosed.
INHALER BYPASS
A dry powder inhaler is disclosed. The dry powder inhaler includes a first housing member and a second housing member being rotatable in relation to one another to prepare administering a medicament dose from at least one medicament reservoir. An air inlet, a first air outlet, and a second air outlet are provided. The air inlet and the first air outlet are connected by a first air channel via a dosage mechanism configured to arrange a dose from the reservoir into the first air channel. The air inlet and the second air outlet are connected by a second air channel. An inhalation chimney is provided internally forming the proximal portion of the first air channel and comprising the first air outlet at a first end thereof.
