A therapeutic device, for human hair and skincare, comprises a gripping unit a functional unit including a first functional module and a second functional module, the first functional module including a first plate and a second functional module including a second plate, wherein a second surface of the second plate is oriented in an opposite direction to a first surface of the first plate, a plurality of teeth oriented in the direction of the orientation of the first surface, the plurality of teeth including a plurality of respective primary Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), a plurality of secondary LEDs provided on the second plate and oriented in the direction of the orientation of the second surface and a sensor unit configured to determine hair distribution data on a body portion of a user.
Instrument for isolating candidate eyelashes to attach prostheses
An instrument for isolating candidate eyelashes to attach prostheses includes an instrument tip which has a tip aperture. A candidate eyelash is disposed in a distal slot of the tip aperture. The instrument tip is advanced relative to the candidate eyelash and the instrument tip applies a force to eyelashes that are adjacent to the candidate eyelash. The application of the force actuates the eyelashes that are adjacent to the candidate eyelash away from the candidate eyelash. The candidate eyelash is actuated into an open area of the tip aperture and a prosthesis is attached to the candidate eyelash.
Sheet mask comprising a battery part
The sheet mask includes multiple battery parts arranged such that electric currents flow along mimic muscles or flows of lymph. This allows an active ingredient to penetrate into in-body tissues more effectively and also allows the mimic muscles and the lymphatic vessels to be electrically stimulated. Forming the battery parts by using materials with low environmental load allows easy disposal of the sheet mask in everyday life.
Treatment of skin and skin conditions using snails
The method for a skin treatment using a first snail on a human patient includes placing the first snail on a first surface to allow the first snail to attach itself to the first surface. The method further includes projecting a first predetermined amount of a first agent onto the first snail with to cause the first snail to secrete a liquid on the first surface. The method further includes administering the secreted liquid over a surface of a skin of a portion of a body of the human patient.
Systems, Methods and Devices for Aiding in the Decolonization of Bacteria
New systems, methods and devices for aiding in the decolonization of bacterial infections in human and animal patients are provided. In some embodiments, a specialized decolonization, cleaning and infection prevention kit is provided, including a container with compartment(s) that include sub-compartment sections and GUI tools including specialized non-verbal instructions that guide the patient to use combinations of components of the sub-compartments in an infection prevention or decolonization regimen. In some embodiments, each such section provides a variety of decolonization and/or cleaning components for use decolonizing different parts of a user's body and/or environment at particular treatment intervals. In some embodiments, each of the compartment(s) and/or sub-compartment(s) corresponds with an instruction and timing for the use of the components within the compartment or sub- compartment. In some embodiments, a specialized computer system aids in the management of such a regimen, with specialized tracking and coverage-enhancing techniques.
Dermal spray apparatus with disposable cartridge and method
A system and method for dermal spraying includes a portable, hand-held dermal application device with one or more disposable cartridges that spray a dermal formulation onto the skin, the disposable cartridge having a nozzle that can be activated by placing the cartridge into the spray device.
VACUUM-ASSISTED DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHOD
This invention relates to a device and method for the vacuum-assisted delivery of drugs through an intact surface membrane of an organ.
Foldable adhesive composite dressing
An adhesive composite dressing useful for applying an active ingredient to a treated skin site, as well as methods of manufacture and use of such dressings. In one embodiment, an adhesive composite dressing comprising an anchor member, a target member, and a folding member, where the anchor member comprises a first skin-contact adhesive, the target member comprises an opening adapted to enable skin treatment, the folding member comprises a drug reservoir, and where the folding member is attached to the anchor portion through a hinge defined by a line of attachment that is not contiguous with an edge of the anchor member.
Applicator
An applicator of one aspect for applying a sheet member to skin includes a body having a bottom surface facing the skin and a first guide configured to guide the sheet member to a space between the skin and the bottom surface, in which the sheet member is applied to the skin after being folded in the space.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ENRICHED MEDICAL SUSPENSION OF CARBON DIOXIDE
A medical fluid suspension generating apparatus for performing medical procedures includes a Venturi-agitating tip assembly composed of a multi-channel arrangement at a proximal first end thereof and a tip at a distal second end thereof. The apparatus also includes a compressed medical fluid unit fluidly connected to the multi-channel arrangement at a proximal first end of the Venturi-agitating tip assembly and a medical solution fluidly connected to the multi-channel arrangement at a proximal first end of the Venturi-agitating tip assembly. Pressurized gas, from the compressed medical fluid unit, and the medical solution are combined within the Venturi-agitating tip assembly in a manner generating an enriched medical suspension that is ultimately dispensed from the suspension delivery apparatus.
