An atrial shunt regulation device, a braid tool and a braid method thereof. The left disk (1) and the right disk (2) of the atrial shunt regulation device are connected via the intermediate portion (3) as a single piece, and the left disk (1), the intermediate portion (3) and the right disk (2) are braided by a single braid wire (10). The ends of the braid wires are secured by one nut in the single-braid method, which reduces the number and size of the nuts and easily forms a cortical layer. The braid tool for braiding an atrial shunt regulation device comprises a cylinder braid body mold (20), the cylindrical braid body mold (20) includes positioning pins (21) that are evenly connected to an outer wall of the braid body mold. The braid method of the atrial shunt regulation device comprises braiding, thermoforming, braiding a binding-off wire, securing ends of wires by a nut, and thermoforming again. The braid method is easy, the process is easy, and the device can be made manually in small batches to reduce costs.
SELF-SEALABLE INJECTION NEEDLE FOR INHIBITING FORMATION OF FISTULA ON EYEBALL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention relates to a self-sealable injection needle for inhibiting formation of fistula on an eyeball, and a method for manufacturing same. More specifically, the self-sealable injection needle for inhibiting formation of fistula on an eyeball, which is coated with hyaluronic acid on the surface thereof, can immediately close a hole that is inevitably formed when the injection needle is pulled out of an eyeball during the application of an ocular injection to prevent leakage of aqueous humor and to prevent backflow of drug out of the eyeball and can block bacterial penetration to prevent infection in the eyeball.
CLEANABLE RESPIRATORY CIRCUIT
A cleanable respiratory tube is provided. The cleanable respiratory tube comprises a corrugated tube adapted for conveying gases to and/or from a patient. The corrugated tube has a first and a second fitting at a first and a second end thereof, respectively. A sheath having a smooth cleanable outer surface encases the corrugated tube. A first and a second end of the sheath is fixedly attached to the respective first and second fitting. The sheath is made of a flexible foil-type sheet material surrounding the corrugated tube having an inside diameter approximately equal to an outside diameter of ridges of the corrugated tube such that the sheath is in a touching relationship therewith.
New Nasal Respiratory Apparatus
A nasal respiratory apparatus comprising a compressible nasal dam is removably engaged with an air chamber to provide respiratory gas to a patient. The air chamber has a gas connection port, at least one nasal conduit, a nasal end tidal sample port, wherein the gas connection port is configured to receive an externally supplied gas via a gas supply tube and wherein the at least one nasal conduit in fluid communication with the gas connection port. The nasal dam has a least one nares port corresponding to the at least one nasal conduit of the air chamber, the nares port extending from an upper external surface of the nasal dam to a lower external surface of the nasal dam such that the upper external surface of the nasal dam interfaces with soft tissue of a patients nasal base to provide a substantial seal around the patients nasal base to facilitate respiratory gas supply to the patient.
Negative pressure wound treatment apparatuses and methods with integrated electronics
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a wound treatment apparatus with electronic components integrated within a wound dressing. In some embodiments, a wound dressing apparatus can comprise a wound dressing. The wound dressing can comprise an absorbent material, an electronics unit comprising a negative pressure source, the electronics unit integrated within the wound dressing and at least partially encapsulated by a flexible film. The electronics unit can include translucent or transparent components that allow light to travel through to reach adhesives or coatings on the electronic components that would otherwise be obscured.
Injection device and injection solution transferring system
An injection device (10) comprises an injection solution receptacle (30) and a plunger (70) at least a portion of which is slidably received in the injection solution receptacle (30), wherein the plunger (70) is displaceable relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in a distal direction in order to expel an injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30). A first plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in the distal direction at a first dosing position (P1). A second plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) from the first dosing position (P1) in the distal direction at a second dosing position (P2), wherein the first and the second dosing position (P2) of the plunger (70) are selected in such a manner that the plunger (70), upon being displaced relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) between the first and the second dosing position (P2) is adapted to expel a desired dose of the injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30).
Syringe barrel, method for manufacturing same, and pre-filled syringe
A syringe barrel includes: a barrel body including a nozzle portion at a distal end thereof; and a cap removably mounted to the nozzle portion and configured to seal a distal end opening of the nozzle portion. The cap includes: an inner cap formed of an elastic material and configured to come in liquid tight contact with the nozzle portion in a mounted state in which the cap is mounted to the nozzle portion, and a cylindrical outer cap formed of a material having a higher hardness than the inner cap and fixed around the inner cap.
