Non-sticky stable composition
A composition contains: (a) at least one oil; (b) at least one polyglyceryl fatty acid ester; (c) at least one polyoxyalkylenated organosilicon compound; (d) at least one nonionic surfactant other than the (b) polyglyceryl fatty acid ester; and (e) at least one anionic surfactant. An embodiment according to the present invention is a composition that provides no sticky feeling or a reduced sticky feeling to the touch, and is stable, in particular stable over time and/or under elevated temperature, although the composition includes a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester.
Composition for Enhancing Hair Fiber Properties
Described herein is a hair care composition including from about 0.01% to about 20% of a lipid being one or more unsaturated fatty materials chosen from unsaturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty alcohols, and mixtures thereof. The unsaturated fatty material has a Log P of less than 8. The hair care composition also includes from about 0.01% to about 10% of a fatty acid monoester of a polyol, a saturated fatty alcohol, an ester of a saturated fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof. The molecule of the fatty acid component of the fatty acid monoester includes a linear or a branched carbon chain with 10 to 22 carbon atoms. The fatty acid monoester of a polyol has a log P of less than 8. The molecule of the fatty alcohol includes a linear or branched carbon chain with 8 to 22 carbon atoms. The hair care composition also includes a non-aqueous volatile solvent.
USE OF SPECIFIC POLYMERS TO BRING ABOUT AN ANTI-POLLUTION EFFECT
The present invention relates to the use of a polymer or of a cosmetic product comprising said polymer, and additionally other known cosmetic ingredients, to bring about an anti-pollution effect on human skin or on human hair, especially to protect human skin or human hair from dust, wherein the polymer is a cationic, anionic or non-ionic polymer, and wherein the polymer has a solubility in water of at least 0.01 g of polymer in 100 g of water at 20° C. at least at a pH in the range between 4 and 9.
TOPICAL COMPOSITIONS
The present invention is concerned with the use of a PEG-emulsifier, optionally in combination with hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof for suppressing discoloration in topical compositions comprising vitamin B6 or a derivative thereof. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for reducing discoloration of topical compositions containing vitamin B6 or a derivative thereof, comprising preparing a topical composition comprising vitamin B6, a PEG-emulsifiers and optionally hyaluronic acid and a cosmetically acceptable carrier.

The present invention relates to hair care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of using such hair care compositions. Such hair care compositions comprising the malodor control technologies disclosed herein provide malodor control without leaving an undesirable scent and when perfume is used to scent such compositions, such scent is not unduly altered by the malodor control technology.

COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT SILK FIBROIN
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a low molecular weight silk fibroin and a cosmetically acceptable carrier; wherein said low molecular weight silk fibroin comprises at least 85 parts by weight peptides of molecular weight less than 2500 Da, where amino acid sequence of at least 50 wt % of said peptides is GAGY, GAGAGAGY, GAGVGAGY or AWSSESDF and where said silk fibroin is produced by a process comprising the steps of: (i) mixing an aqueous solution comprising 0.01 to 20 wt % of a high molecular weight silk fibroin of weight average molecular weight 6 to 100 KDa with ochymotrypsin at temperature of 25 to 45° C., under pH of 6 to 9 for 4 to 24 hours; where ratio of said high molecular weight silk fibroin to said ochymotrypsin in said solution is from 100:1 to 300:1 parts by weight: (ii) inactivating excess ochymotrypsin and separating the inactivated α-chymotrypsin from reaction mixture of step (i); and (ill) drying said reaction mixture to obtain said low molecular weight silk fibroin; wherein said composition comprises 0.1 to 10% by weight of the low molecular weight silk fibroin.
