The present invention relates to polyamide microcapsules. A process for the preparation of polyamide microcapsules is also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising said microcapsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention.

The present invention is related to methods and compositions that can be applied to personal cleaning, oral care, deodorant and hard surface cleaning applications, including liquid soap, foaming soap, liquid dishwashing detergent, shower gel, shampoo, emulsified deodorant, mouthwash, toothpaste and facial cleanser in order to reduce or eliminate microbes on a surface or body part.

Compositions comprising 3-hexen-1-ol are described herein, as well as odor-imparting formulations comprising same and articles-of-manufacturing comprising such compositions or odor-imparting formulations. The compositions comprise trans-3-hexen-1-ol in a range of from 67% to 82% by weight and cis-3-hexen-1-ol in a range of from 18% to 33% by weight, wherein a total concentration of trans-3-hexen-1-ol and cis-3-hexen-1-ol is at least 97% by weight. Further described herein is a process for preparing a composition comprising 3-hexen-1-ol, the process comprising: contacting 1-pentene with a formaldehyde in the presence of a Lewis acid to thereby obtain a crude mixture comprising 3-hexen-1-ol; and contacting the mixture comprising 3-hexen-1-ol with a base.

The application relates to a dispersant composition, including: at least one alkyl polyglucoside; and a diester of formula (B)

The dispersant composition is such that the mass ratio of the proportion by weight of alkyl polyglycoside relative to the proportion by weight of diester of formula (B) is from 7.4 to 18.0.

The present invention relates to new classes of odorous 3-(2- methylenealkoxy)alkanenitrile derivatives of formula (I) which are useful as fragrance or flavor materials in particular in providing dry, woody, dusty, earthy, and/or patchouli notes together with optional coriander, aldehydic, citrus, mandarin, pear, cinnamon, and/ or petal floral-like notes to perfume, aroma or deodorizing/masking compositions.
