MULTIFUNCTIONAL SAFETY UMBRELLA
This disclosure provides a multi-functional safety umbrella comprising a main pipe. An umbrella tail is fixedly disposed on an upper side of the main pipe, and a safety structure is disposed on a lower side of the main pipe. The safety structure comprises a safety hammer, and an umbrella head is disposed on an outside of the safety structure. The umbrella head is detachably connected with the safety structure. When the umbrella head and the safety structure is fixed together, the safety hammer of the safety structure is hidden in the umbrella head. A safety hammer structure is disposed at a lower position of the main pipe, and then the umbrella head is disposed on the outside of the safety hammer, so that without affecting the overall appearance and use of the umbrella, the safety hammer can be hidden.
TRAVEL AND ORIENTATION MONITOR APPARATUS FOR FIREFIGHTERS AND RESCUE PERSONNEL
An apparatus carried by an individual for aiding in directing the individual to a location of a starting point for a path of travel by the individual includes a sensor for determining the individual's initial orientation at the starting point and subsequent changes of orientations during the travel; a processor coupled to the sensor for assigning one of four orthogonal (Erections to each of the orientations as experienced by the individual; a memory coupled to the processor for saving at least the orthogonal orientation of the initial orientation and the last experienced orientation; and a display for presenting at least the last experienced orientation to permit the individual to subsequently reorient himself in the direct of the original orientation. The apparatus has particular utility for firefighters to assist in orienting themselves with respect to an initial point of reference (POR) when inside a active firefighting location.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING BLOCKAGES OF EMERGENCY EXISTS IN A BUILDING
Methods and systems for monitoring blockages of emergency escape routes and emergency exits of a building include capturing a plurality of images which may correspond to an emergency escape route and/or an emergency exit of a building. The plurality of images may be analyzed to determine when a stationary object is present and at least partially blocking the emergency escape route and/or the emergency exit. If a blockage is detected, a user may be notified of the blockage.

Demolishing of glazing at a distance
Demolishing glazing at a distance uses a demolition ram comprising a pusher, a handle having proximal and distal ends, and fasteners connecting the handle at the distal end to the pusher. The demolishing comprises touching a subpane of the glazing with the pusher, pushing the subpane out of the glazing, and moving the subpane so that it can fall due to its weight, and then catching the falling subpane with a receptacle comprising a mat. The pushing comprises exerting a force about the proximal end, and generating an impulsive force onto the subpane by the exerting through the touching. The impulsive force is generally coaxial with the force of the exerting. The handle has a slenderness ratio of at least twenty-five and not more than one hundred ten that distances the exerting from the generating.
PORTABLE RESCUE DEVICE AND ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A RESCUE DEVICE
A portable rescue device (1), such as a spreader device, cutter device or combination device with a cutting and spreading function, for portable rescue operations includes a housing (2), a first hand grip (3) and a second hand grip (4) for two-handed actuation of the rescue device. An electric motor is in the housing (2) and a battery (15) is housed on the rescue device (1), or a connection to an external electrical power source. A mechanically or hydraulically driven movable piston rod (12) performs spreading and/or cutting. A display, which is provided on the housing (2). An electronic open- and closed-loop control device provides open- and/or closed-loop control of the electric motor (3) and/or of the display. The rescue device (1) has a communication interface (20) for video data (VD), the video data (VD) being user guidance data, and the display being a video-enabled display (8).
FIRE HOSE WITH REFLECTIVE MARKER
Fire hose composed of single textile reinforcement made entirely from high-strength polyester thread, horizontal weaving (fabric type), in white, and an internal tube made from synthetic rubber, in black, in types I, II and III, and type IV with an external coating made from Special Acrylic Ink in red or special luminescent ink in orange, yellow and pink, and an internal tube made from synthetic rubber, in black, with greater abrasion resistance, in accordance with Standard. NBR 11861 in both types, characterized by the inclusion of arrows in reflective material over the entire length thereof, between 1 and 1.8 meters on the two intercalated faces, further having Connection Seals, in blue, directly at the respective outlet from the fire truck, hydrant or other means used for the entry of water into the hose, and the other connection seal in red for coupling to the nozzle used (Figures A.2 and A.5).
Multifunctional safety tool
Provided herein are personal safety tools and multifunctional safety tool. The tools have a window striker and a tactical whip on each end of a grip or handgrip. Alternatively, the window striker includes a blade to enable a user to cut through a seat belt. The tool is useful for extricating one's self or another from a vehicle and/or for defending one's self or another from an attacker in an emergency.
