Apparatus for converting large bales of forage material into small rectangular bales of forage material
An apparatus for disintegrating large rectangular bales of forage or bedding material and reforming the disintegrated material into small rectangular bales includes an inclined conveyor having spikes projecting therefrom to remove slices of material from the large bale and a spiked roller to move the slice rearwardly onto a tumbler bed that receives the slice and affects disintegration thereof. The tumbler bed includes a plurality of transverse assemblies having disks interleaving with the disks on adjacent assemblies, each assembly rotating faster than the assembly immediately forwardly thereof. The disintegrated material falls through the tumbler bed as discrete components that land on a collecting conveyor that conveys the material rearwardly to a small rectangular baler for repackaging. The apparatus further includes a hold-down mechanism that presses the slices toward the tumbler bed to enhance disintegration. An approach conveyor feeds the large rectangular bales loaded thereon to the inclined conveyor for processing.
KNOTTER FOR BALER WITH KEYED BILLHOOK
A knotter assembly for a baler, the knotter assembly configured to form knots in strands of a binding material used to secure a formed bale. The knotter assembly includes a generally circular knotter disc, a rotary billhook, and a pinion which is disposed for meshing engagement with a pair of circumferentially spaced gear stretches on the knotter disc such that rotational movement of the billhook is driven by the knotter disc through engagement of the gear stretches with the pinion. The billhook includes a billhook shaft, wherein the billhook shaft has a notch formed along a portion of the billhook shaft that extends parallel to an axis of the billhook shaft. The pinion includes a key that extends into a pinion opening configured to receive the billhook shaft such that the key engages with the notch to connect the pinion with the billhook.
KNOTTER WITH CLIP RETAINED BILLHOOK FOR BALER
A knotter assembly for a baler, the knotter assembly configured to form knots in strands of a binding material used to secure a formed bale. The knotter assembly includes a generally circular knotter disc, a rotary billhook, and a pinion which is disposed for meshing engagement with a pair of circumferentially spaced gear stretches on the knotter disc such that rotational movement of the billhook is driven by the knotter disc through engagement of the gear stretches with the pinion. The billhook includes a billhook shaft, wherein the billhook shaft is received in an opening of the pinion. A retaining clip engages the billhook shaft to couple the billhook with the pinion. The retaining clip is C-shaped with a mouth configured to receive the billhook shaft and teeth that engage a groove around at least a portion of the circumference of the billhook shaft.
Square baler
A square baler includes a frame, a bale chamber formed on the frame, a knotting part having a knotting member and a needle member, wherein the knotting member is provided to knot and cut a bale string, and the needle member is provided to perform a vertical angular movement and guide the bale string to the knotting member, a pickup part picking up and providing hay in a front inner space of the bale chamber, and a rake part rotatably installed so as to, during the rotation and downward motion of the rake part, push and compress the hay, which was picked up and provided to the inner space of the bale chamber, towards the rear side.
Method of operating an agricultural baler
A method and system for operating an agricultural baler, that includes measuring at least one physical input parameter associated with a compression profile of crop material in a bale chamber of the baler; analyzing the compression profile of the crop material, dependent upon the measured at least one physical input parameter; and adjusting at least one physical output parameter of the baler which affects the compression profile of the crop material in the bale chamber.
Control system for a bale wrapping device
A system and method for automatic wrapping bales in a bale wrapper, including placing a bale on a loading table and performing a wrapping cycle. The wrapping cycle including rotating a wrapping hoop to apply a wrapping material to a bale surface, moving a bale pushing device from a first position toward a second position to push the bale through the wrapping hoop, dispensing from a first material applicator and a second material applicator, determining presence of the wrapping material, by a sensor on the wrapping hoop, adjusting based on the determining, a ratio of moving speed to rotational speed of the wrapping hoop, to apply a predetermined amount of wrapping material independent of the presence of wrapping material dispensing, continuing to move the bale pushing device until the second position is reached, stopping the rotation of the wrapping hoop, and moving the bale pushing device to the first position.
