Cross flow blower
Embodiments relate generally to a cross flow blower (100) including a housing (108) which includes an inlet (104) and an outlet (102), rotating impeller blades (212) located within the housing (108), wherein airflow enters and exits the impeller blades (212) radially, a motor (106) operable to power the rotating impeller blades (212), and a plurality of flow forming blades (210, 214) located within the blower (100) operable to direct airflow within the blower (100).
PERSONAL WEARABLE AIR CURTAIN SHIELD
A device in the form of a cap, for generating an isolation barrier for airborne pathogens between the wearer's face and the environment. A major part of the outer surface comprises filter material, allowing filtered air to flow from the environment into a chamber beneath the surface layer. A fan sucks air through the filter element and into the chamber. A horizontally oriented slot is situated across the visor portion of the cap structure, in front of the forehead of the person when the device is worn by the person. The slot has a width substantially smaller than the length. The flow of filtered air within the chamber is directed out of the slot as a curtain-like flow of filtered air in front of the face of the person. A cross-flow fan mounted just above the slot is most effective in generating the curtain flow.
PERSONAL AND MOBILE DEVICES FOR PROVIDING BIOLOGICAL PROTECTION BY THE ULTRAVIOLET IRRADIATION OF RECIRCULATED AIR
The invention can be used to produce personal protection systems of respiratory organs (RPE) and organs of vision from airborne and aerosol pathogens. Additionally, it can be used to create mobile low-power closed-type recirculation systems of UV cleaning and air disinfection in small rooms and volumes: salons and cabins of various vehicles, offices, classrooms, medical rooms, etc. According to the claimed characteristics, the invention provides a high level of bactericidal treatment of air flows, including human breathing, by irradiating the flow with UV radiation from UVC-LED source with the formation of multiple times amplified luminous flux in the multi-pass irradiation chamber. The technical result is expressed in a multiple increase in the bactericidal efficacy of the device compared to devices without such a chamber, as well as in the same reduction in the requirements for the radiation power of the primary radiators according to the required bactericidal efficacy of the device.
Respiratory protection system
The invention relates to a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) system with a transparent multi-use face shield, a foam frame attached to the interior face of the face shield, a flexible hose secured within a hole bore through the foam frame, a portable air filtering enclosure and a pump contained therein that introduces filtered air into the system through the flexible hose, and a non-woven HEPA cloth carry bag that also functions as an air filter. The face shield features a fastener system that includes flexible straps made from a transparent, flexible, non-stick, and self-adhesive releasable tape. The invention provides the user eye protection and respiratory protection from direct fluid spray, flying debris, unclean air, unhealthy airborne contaminants, including SARS-CoV-2 and other harmful viruses or pathogens.
Oxygen Mask Assembly
An oxygen mask assembly for assisting a user with breathing while wearing a mask includes a mask is wearable on a user's face such that the mask covers the user's mouth and nose. An oxygen tube extends through the mask to deliver oxygen to the user for breathing when the mask is being worn. An exhale valve is fluidly integrated into the mask and the exhale valve has a single direction of flow. In this way the exhale valve facilitates air exhaled by the user to pass through the exhale valve and inhibit air inhaled by the user from passing through the exhale valve. An oxygen reservoir containing gaseous oxygen is provided and the oxygen tube is fluidly coupled to the oxygen tank to deliver the gaseous oxygen to the user for breathing.
Magnetic quick connect
A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.
Jet Air Curtain For Personal Respiratory Protection
A device receiving an unsterile supply of air, subjects the airflow to one or more sterilizing agents or sterilizing conditions, and then exhausts the treated airflow through a nozzle or array of nozzles, forming a jet of air or array of air jets directed at or along the surface of the head of a living being such that the sterilized airflow envelopes the head. The result is a) the living being breathes air that is free of one or more infectious agents and b) the jet of air forms an air curtain such that the living being is protected from inhaling infectious agents that may surround them.
FACIAL AIR SHIELD TO PREVENT DISEASE SPREAD
The present disclosure provides devices and systems for prevention from air born viruses, bacteria or contaminants, in particular, the device acts as an air shield that is placed on the human forehead and generates a differential high pressure in front of the human face that blocks the viruses from reaching the face. The device is composed of air fans with controlled speeds, air filters, an air cone, an air slot, and controlled circuitry to operate the device.
POWERED AIR FILTRATION FACE COVERING
A protective face covering may comprise a frame comprising a main body. At least a portion of the main body is hollow and defines an inlet passage and an exhaust passage therein. The protective face covering may further comprise a visor coupled to the frame and configured to be disposed adjacent a face of a user in a first position, a membrane barrier coupled the visor and configured to seal against a portion of the wearer to define a sealed cavity between the visor and the face of the wearer in the first position, a blower unit in fluid communication with the inlet passage, the blower unit configured to provide a volume of filtered fluid to the inlet passage. The frame comprises an inlet aperture disposed adjacent a front portion of the frame and configured to direct a curtain of fluid into the sealed cavity in the first position.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CIRCULATING AIR BETWEEN A FACE COVERING AND AN INDIVIDUAL WEARING THE FACE COVERING
Devices and methods for delivering and circulating air within an air pocket between a face covering and the face of an individual wearing the face covering. The device has an air inlet, an air outlet, and a passage therebetween that fluidically couples the air inlet and outlets, a filter configured to filter air passing through the passage between the air inlet and the air outlet, a fastener configured to releasably secure the device to the face covering such that the air inlet is located outside of the air pocket and exposed to atmospheric air and the air outlet is located within the air pocket, and an air transport system configured to force air from the atmospheric air to flow into the air inlet, through the filter, and out of the air outlet into the air pocket.
