FACE MASK
A face mask has a centrifugal fan assembly, with a radial outlet outside the mask cavity. A flow adjusting element is added to prevent outlet flow from the fan assembly traveling along the outside of the mask and reaching the user, for example at the neck.
PROTECTIVE FACE SHIELD UTILIZING LAMINAR AIR FLOW
An airflow device configured for creating an air barrier includes a fan, a power source, a laminar assembly, and an attachment mechanism. The power source is coupled to the fan. The laminar assembly includes a plurality of tubes and is coupled to the fan so that air flow generated by the fan passes through the plurality of tubes to create the air barrier. The attachment mechanism attaches the laminar assembly to a user in a location near the user's head such that the air barrier created by the laminar assembly is positioned in front of the user's face. A plenum is positioned between the fan and the laminar assembly such that the air flow generated by the fan passes through the plenum and then through the laminar assembly. The airflow device acts as a face shield that protects the user from airborne contaminants and viruses.
DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING AIR DURING BREATHING
A device for enhancing efficiency of an air mask (204) wearable by a user to cover the mouth and nose of the user includes an elongated chamber (202) fluidly couplable at a proximal end thereof to an air opening (205, 205′) of the mask (204). A filter element (206) formed of flexible material is wrapped around a sidewall of the chamber either internally or externally and has a surface area that is at least twice as large as that of the mask for filtering air flowing through the chamber in either direction, and a one-way valve (227, 228) is mounted in association with the opening for allowing filtered air inhaled by the user to pass from the chamber to the mask or for allowing an air exhaled by the user to pass from the mask to the chamber.
Method and apparatus for providing air flow
Provided is a powered air blower unit for delivering air flow to a user with constant air flow or varying speeds of air flow. The air blower unit may also include a filter for purifying the air.
Smart mask with a transparent mouth-covering portion and impellor- driven air filtration
This invention is a smart face mask with a transparent portion which covers a person's mouth, at least one impellor-driven air filter, and at least one passive air filter, wherein the air filters are in fluid communication with the space between the transparent portion and the person's mouth. Air can be drawn into the mask through the impellor-driven air filter primarily by the impellor, but air flows into or out of the mask through the passive air filter due to the person's respiration.
BREATHING AIR CLEANING DEVICE
The invention relates to a respiratory air purifier device. In order to provide an improved respiratory air purifier device which is able effectively to retain viruses, a respiratory air purifier device 101 is proposed for retention of viruses from respiratory air flowing through the device 101, the latter having an interface 110 designed such that it can be placed by a wearer sealingly onto at least one respiratory opening, a hollow-fibre dialyser 120 as a filter, and a connection piece 130 between the interface 110 and the dialyser 120, wherein interface 110, dialyser 120 and connection piece 130 are configured in such a way as to form an airtight fluid channel which fluidically connects the interface to either only the exterior of the hollow fibres X or only the interior of the hollow fibres I of the hollow-fibre dialyser 120, and wherein the purifier device 101 is designed in such a way that, in at least one flow direction E, A, each flow path pE, pA that runs completely through the purifier device extends through the pores of the hollow-fibre membranes, i.e. transversely with respect to the hollow-fibre membrane, of the hollow-fibre dialyser 120.
RESPIRATOR WITH AIR SCRUBBING SYSTEM
An air delivery system for delivering a pathogen-free airflow can include an air intake manifold, a sterilizer unit with a tank and at least one ultraviolet (UV) unit, a cooling unit with at least one cooling manifold and at least one heat exchange unit, and a user output. The air intake manifold, the tank, the at least one cooling manifold, and a user output can be in fluid communication in that general order. The at least one ultraviolet (UV) unit can be mounted within the tank, with the at least one UV unit configured to generate ultraviolet light to promote killing of pathogens. The at least one heat exchange unit is configured to cool the outbound air flow to a temperature suitable for breathing by a user and to heat an incoming air flow in the air intake manifold.
OPEN TYPE BREATHING-OUT PARTICLES CAPTURE AND FILTRATION DEVICE
An open type breathing-out particles capture and filtration device includes a mask having an air-in space defined between an upper edge of the mask and a user's face; a suction assembly including an air expelling pipe communicable with the air-in space and a fan; filtering materials located upstream of the fan; and a power supply driving the fan to rotate and produce a suction airflow. External air flowed into the mask via the air-in space and air breathed out of the user's nose and mouth is sucked by the suction airflow to pass through the filtering materials, so that air discharged from the air expelling pipe is clean air without any infection source. With the air-in space, an additional load applied to the mask by the suction airflow is reduced and contact areas between the mask and the user's face is also reduced, making the mask more comfortable for wearing.
WIRELESS RECHARGEABLE AND PORTABLE ANTI-MICROBIAL RESPIRATOR
The present invention provides a wireless rechargeable and portable anti-microbial respirator. The respirator includes a face-piece with an air inlet and an air outlet; a first belt and a second belt, the first belt is connected to ends of the face-piece, and the second belt is configured to wrap around the waist of a user; a flexible outlet tube, where the first end of the flexible outlet tube is connected to the air outlet of the face-piece; a flexible intake tube, where the first end of the flexible intake tube is connected to the air inlet of the face-piece; and a filtration system fixed onto the second belt.
