IMAGE-BASED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FIT SYSTEM USING WORKER-SPECIFIC FIT TEST IMAGE DATA
Example PPE fit systems are described that verify that a current fit of a PPE on a wearer is consistent with a previous fit test of the PPE on the particular wearer. During a fit test of a PPE, an image capture device captures an image of the wearer with the PPE that represents a verified reference for a fit of PPE of a same or similar type on the particular wearer. During a verification check, an image capture device captures an image of the wearer with the PPE. Visual features of the fit test image are compared with visual features of the verification image to determine whether the fit of the PPE on the wearer is correct. Differences between the visual features are alerted to the user, such as for correction, adjustment, or retest.

SYSTEM FOR MONITORING SERVICEABILITY STATUS PARAMETERS
The invention relates to technical means of protecting respiratory organs, said means supporting human vital functions in an unbreathable atmosphere, and concerns a self-contained breathing apparatus having a closed breathing system using chemically bound oxygen. The essence of the invention consists in increasing the reliability of self-contained self-rescuers by using means of monitoring parameters that define the serviceability thereof.
COMMUNICATION ASSEMBLY, AIRCRAFT PROVIDED WITH THE COMMUNICATION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING INTERFERENCE IN COMMUNICATIONS
A communication assembly for avoiding interferences due to oxygen flow noise, including a) a breathing mask having a body having a face shell having a breathing cavity and a regulator delivering a breathing gas, b) a microphone configured to capture a sound signal in the breathing cavity, c) a test button for supplying the breathing cavity with breathing gas, d) an attenuation device, e) a sound monitoring system, f) a controller configured to the attenuation device operate in an active mode when a flow noise though the breathing cavity during inhalation by the user is detected, and an inactive mode when a vocal sound or a flow noise in the breathing cavity in a stowed configuration is detected, and g) a transmitter for transmitting an output signal.

METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND SYSTEMS FOR EVALUATING RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE DEVICES
Apparatuses and methods for evaluating a respiratory protective device are provided. For example, an example method includes retrieving a plurality of pressure measurement data objects and a plurality of fan operation data objects associated with the respiratory protective device, generating a performance parameter data object based on the plurality of pressure measurement data objects and the plurality of fan operation data objects, determining a performance criterion data object corresponding to the performance parameter data object, and generating a performance indication data object based on comparing the performance parameter data object with the performance criterion data object.

Adjustable body belt having D-rings/attachments
A single and multiple body belt for use by linemen and others engaged in operations on poles or similar structures having at least a primary body belt, which can be disposed below and detachably connected to a secondary body belt in the multiple body belt configuration. The primary body belt and the secondary body belt each have at least one pair of D-rings. The D-rings, which may differ in size, are separated enough to allow a wearer to distinguish between devices that are normally solely attached to one pair of primary D-rings. The body belts (or other portions) may also have an adjustability section through which a belt strap is woven to either extend or shorten the length of the respective belt strap. The adjustability section allows a lineman to further adjust the tightness of the belt (or other portions) around his or her waist to provide improved support and safety.
RESPIRATOR DEVICE WITH LIGHT EXPOSURE DETECTION
A system including a head-mounted device having a face shield; a respirator coupled to or embodied in the head mounted device; a light having a light intensity; a light detector, and a computing device communicatively coupled to the at least one light detector that receive from the light detector data indicting a type and intensity of light, and determine that the light matches a particular type of light and whether it exceeds a threshold, and on the basis of this determination, modifies the intensity of the light.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF AIR PARAMETER BASED AUTOMATIC PURGING OF BREATHABLE AIR WITHIN A FIREFIGHTER AIR REPLENISHMENT SYSTEM
Disclosed are methods and a safety system of a structure for an air parameter based automatic purging of breathable air within the safety system. In accordance therewith, an air analysis device is coupled within the safety system along an air flow path of the breathable air from the source thereof. The safety system has a fixed piping system installed within the structure for supply of the breathable air across the safety system. A sensor associated with the air analysis device senses a parameter of the breathable air within the safety system. In response to an alert signal indicative of the sensed parameter of the breathable air being outside a predetermined threshold value, a valve and/or a vacuum pump within the safety system automatically purges the safety system of at least a portion of the breathable air.
