PROTECTION DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AGAINST PATHOGENS, AND METHOD
A protective device to protect against pathogens comprises a protective housing that defines an interior space defined, a closable access opening to enter the interior space, a seating element that allows a passenger to sit in the interior space, and a chassis to move the protective device, wherein the protective device, in a closed state, seals the interior space in an airtight manner against an environment. A method to protect against pathogens comprises providing a protective device to a passenger, closing the protective device in an airtight manner, and moving the protective device. The protective device and/or the method may be used to protect a patient.
Facial shielding system for protection from environmental hazards
A system which protects the user from electromagnetic radiation, in particular the eyes, face and/or head from UV radiation and/or excessive light as required, while also protecting from thrown particles, projectiles or fluids from striking a user, in particular the eyes, face and/or head, and at the same time providing clean air to breathe.

Safety enclosure for building structures
A safety enclosure for building structures is an apparatus that provides maintains a safe and healthy living environment and shields hazardous conditions from a surrounding environment. The apparatus includes a structure enclosure, at least one entrance, a plurality of anchoring posts, a plurality of indoor environmental systems, a plurality of indoor maintenance systems, a main controller unit, and a power supply. The structure enclosure surrounds a building and any supplemental buildings. The building may include a variety of extensions as well. The at least one entrance provides access into and out of the structure enclosure. The plurality of anchoring posts secures the structure enclosure with the ground. The plurality of indoor environmental systems ensures livable conditions within the structure enclosure. The plurality of indoor environmental systems ensures the safety within the structure enclosure. The main controller provides a user with manual operation and the power supply provides the necessary power.
ANTIMICROBIAL PREVENTIVE NETTING
An antimicrobial preventive netting is disclosed that includes one or more photosensitizers that are capable of generating a cloud of singlet oxygen on each surface and openings through the netting in response to incident light. A depth of the singlet oxygen cloud may be less than 0.7 centimeters from a netting surface. The netting may be supported by screens, enclosures or headgear. The netting can be made by dipping or soaking the netting in a solution of one or more photosensitizers.

Method and apparatus for automatically maintaining a desired level of oxygen in a refuge
An apparatus for controlling a level of oxygen in a closed environment from an oxygen supply having an oxygen sensor for detecting the level of oxygen in the closed environment. The apparatus has a plurality of relays in communication with the sensor. The apparatus has a valve in communication with the relays and the oxygen supply which is automatically opened with the relays without human interaction, monitoring and adjustment to release oxygen from the oxygen supply into the environment when the level of oxygen in the environment goes below a first predetermined level and which is automatically closed with the relays without human interaction, monitoring and adjustment to stop oxygen from being released from the oxygen supply into the environment when the level of oxygen in the environment goes above a second predetermined level. A method for controlling a level of oxygen in a closed environment from an oxygen supply. A refuge chamber.

Chemical protective shelter system
A chemical protective shelter system for encapsulating an uncontaminated person or persons is presented. The chemical protective shelter system has a cover assembly extending a length between a top end and a bottom end and having interior surface and an exterior surface and an opening which can be opened and closed repeatedly while still sealing. The chemical protective shelter system includes a layer of a chemical adsorbent material capable of filtering chemical agents while allowing oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through the material. The chemical protective shelter is specially adapted to house a plurality of people and facilitate a tent like function. The system also includes a port for auxiliary filtered air. The system may also include a powered air purifying respirator which positively pressures the interior space of the system.
