CHEMICAL PROTECTIVE SHELTER SYSTEM
A chemical protective shelter system for encapsulating an uncontaminated person or persons is presented. The chemical protective shelter system has a cover assembly extending a length between a top end and a bottom end and having interior surface and an exterior surface and an opening which can be opened and closed repeatedly while still sealing. The chemical protective shelter system includes a layer of a chemical adsorbent material capable of filtering chemical agents while allowing oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through the material. The chemical protective shelter is specially adapted to house a plurality of people and facilitate a tent like function. The system also includes a port for auxiliary filtered air. The system may also include a powered air purifying respirator which positively pressures the interior space of the system.

Method and apparatus for administering supplemental oxygen therapy at ambient conditions using a veterinary hyperbaric chamber
A system and method of administrating conventional hyperbaric chamber therapy as well as supplemental oxygen therapy at ambient conditions to an animal using a veterinary hyperbaric chamber. The hyperbaric chamber can function in its usual mode of operation; i.e., providing oxygen at greater than atmospheric pressure and also in a second mode of operation to administer supplemental oxygen thereafter at ambient pressure conditions. In the second mode of operation, the method and apparatus may deliver approximately 80 liters per minute continuous flow of 0.21 through 1.0 FI02 adjustable oxygen gas mixture. The mixture is delivered at ambient pressure from one end of the chamber, flows across the animal positioned within the hyperbaric chamber, and exits at the opposite end for exhaust to ambient conditions. A high flow gas mixture is utilized to maintain accurate gas mixture concentrations with fluctuating supply pressures of medical air and medical oxygen gases.

Escape pod
An escape pod includes a spherical survival chamber, a gimbal mechanism, and a spherical outer case body. The survival chamber is mounted on an inner side of the gimbal mechanism, and an outer side of the gimbal mechanism is mounted within the outer case body. Top and bottom ends of the outer case body are provided symmetrically with upper and lower connecting terminals. The outer case body includes a plurality of arc-shaped plates. Two ends of each arc-shaped plate are fixedly connected to the upper and lower connecting terminals respectively. An inner side of the arc-shaped plate is provided with a reinforcing framework. The reinforcing framework is formed of a plurality of arc-shaped steel pipes. Top and bottom ends of each arc-shaped steel pipe are connected to the upper and lower connecting terminals. One of the arc-shaped plates is provided with a pod door.

POSITIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR FIREFIGHTING APPARATUS
A firefighting apparatus has a positive pressure ventilation system for impairing dust, dirt, and other debris from entering a storage compartment of the apparatus. The system can blow dust, dirt and debris out from the storage compartment if the same enters the compartment. The positive pressure ventilation system includes a blower assembly that supplies a positive flow of air to the storage compartment, such that the pressure within the storage compartments is greater than the environment, and air will egress from the storage compartment into the surrounding environment, rather than entering the storage compartment from the surrounding environment.
MOBILE CLINICS
One aspect of the invention provides a mobile clinic including: an intermodal container defining at least a first opening and a second opening; a partition wall located within the intermodal container, the partition wall separating the intermodal container into an anteroom and a treatment room; and an access control device programmed to prevent passage from the anteroom into the treatment room until a user's donning of personal protective equipment is verified. Another aspect of the invention provides a collapsible structure including: a rigid base; a rigid roof; one or more collapsible walls extending between the floor and the base; and an erector system comprising four cross-bars. Another aspect of the invention provides a crate including: a bottom panel; a top panel; and a plurality of walls, wherein at least two of said plurality of walls including one or more conduits.

Method and Apparatus for Automatically Maintaining a Desired Level of Oxygen in a Refuge
An apparatus for controlling a level of gas in a closed environment from a gas supply having a gas sensor for detecting the level of gas in the closed environment. The apparatus has a valve in communication with the gas supply which is automatically opened without human interaction, monitoring and adjustment to release gas from the gas supply into the environment when the level of gas in the environment goes below a first predetermined level and which is automatically closed without human interaction, monitoring and adjustment to stop gas from being released from the gas supply into the environment when the level of gas in the environment goes above a second predetermined level. A method for controlling a level of gas in a closed environment from a gas supply. A refuge chamber.
