A preferred embodiment suspension trauma relief strap assembly for use with a full body harness includes a pair of straps connectable in two configurations. The first configuration is formed by engaging a hook of one strap with one of a plurality of closed loop arrangements of the other strap to form a sling upon which a person donning the full body harness may stand. The second configuration is formed by engaging the hook of the one strap with one of the plurality of closed loop arrangements of the one strap and engaging the hook of the other strap with one of the plurality of closed loop arrangements of the other strap to form two slings upon which a person donning the full body harness may stand.

ANCHOR DEVICE
20230158347 · 2023-05-25 · ·

An anchor device may be connected to a personal safety line used by a worker, who typically is wearing a safety harness to which the line is attached. The worker may insert an anchoring mechanism portion of the anchoring device into a connection point, then activate a locking feature of the anchoring mechanism to affix it to the connection point. The locking feature comprises multiple jaws which are coupled to each other and to the apparatus so that they expand when tension is applied to the connection point of the personal safety line. The worker, secured in case of fall by the personal safety line, may move about freely, but should a fall occur, the added tension on the personal safety line will increase the force locking the mechanism to the connection point, thus increasing safety. To release the anchoring mechanism, the worker disengages or otherwise unlocks the anchoring mechanism.

CABLE SLEEVE

A cable sleeve comprises a housing, a locking cam, and a locking pawl. The housing has an elongate member passage configured to slidably receive an elongate member and has a cavity. The locking cam and the locking pawl are pivotally connected to the housing within the cavity. The locking cam has a radial edge with a constant radius relative to a pivot connection between the locking cam and the housing and is configured to move from a first cam position to a second cam position configured to engage the elongate member in the elongate member passage with the radial edge. The locking pawl is configured to move from a first pawl position to a second pawl position configured to move the locking cam into the second cam position to engage the elongate member.

Systems, devices and methods, etc., comprising anchors configured to attach to standing seams such as those typically present on metal roofs. The systems, etc., provide benefits such as improved anchorage points for personal fall protection anchorage devices and variability of and security of attachment to the standing seams. The personal fall protection anchorage devices can comprise a retention plate configured to hold the personal fall protection device to a central portion of the retention plate and having at least two y-axis spaced-apart slot configured to immobily hold opposed standing seam graspers each comprising at least two opposed grasping elements sized and configured to immobily squeeze standing seams of the metal roof.

Support harness with shock reducing elements

A support harness with shock reducing elements includes a saddle with a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of bridge connectors is attached to and extends outwardly from the saddle. The first and second lateral edges each has one of the bridge connectors positioned adjacent thereto. The bridge connectors each include a first strap section secured to the saddle adjacent to an upper edge thereof, a second strap section secured to the saddle adjacent to a lower edge thereof, and a central strap section extending between the first and second strap sections. The first strap section includes a plurality folds therein. A break-away fastener extends through the folds and breaks to release the plurality of folds when a predetermined amount of force is placed on the first strap.

Safety harness motion detector systems and methods for use

In an illustrative embodiment, systems and methods for verifying safety compliance of a worker positioned on a building structure utilize a motion detector module (MDM) for attaching to a wearable safety harness, where the harness has a lifeline attachment feature for connecting the safety harness to a lifeline anchored to the building structure. The MDM may include a motion sensor for detecting movement of the worker and processing circuitry for detecting, from signals provided by the motion sensor, significant movement indicative of the safety harness being properly worn by the worker and/or proper attachment of the safety harness to a lifeline, and translating the significant movements into compliance information. The MDM may include a proximate sensor for detecting contact between the attachment feature on the harness and a fastener on the lifeline for verifying the compliance information.

BALANCE MOBILE ANCHOR CART

An anchor cart assembly can include a cart including a frame defining at least one front foot and at least one rear foot, the at least one front foot and the at least one rear foot defining a bottom plane of the frame; and an axle assembly mounted to the frame, the axle assembly being repositionable relative to the frame between a raised position and a lowered position, the axle assembly positioned above the bottom plane in the raised position, at least a portion of the axle assembly positioned below the bottom plane in the lowered position; and a load supported by the cart.

HARNESS CONNECTOR

Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose a full body harness that includes a connector. The connector includes a first plate and a second plate, where the first plate is identical to the second plate. The first plate and the second plate includes a plurality of slits to facilitate passage of a first harness and a second harness there through. The first plate is rotatably coupled to the second plate such that they are rotatable with respect to each other. Such a connector automatically enables easy adjustment of the harness based on an activity of a user who is wearing the harness.
