A roof truss anchor clamp for use with a worker's safety harness, a safety system incorporating the anchor clamp and a method of using the same. The anchor clamp includes a middle wall positionable adjacent an upper surface of a section of a roof truss rafter; a first side wall extending outwardly from one end of the middle wall; a second side wall extending outwardly from an opposite end of the middle wall; wherein a space is defined between the first and second side walls and the section of the rafter is receivable in the space. A fastener assembly is provided on the anchor clamp for securing the clamp to the rafter. A connector is also engaged with the anchor clamp for securing a worker's safety harness thereto.

Anti-Falling Device with Rope Retractable System
20170361136 · 2017-12-21 ·

An ant-falling device includes a shell, a first axle and a second axle supported therein, a buffer unit coupled at the first axle, and a reel spring for retracting the buffer unit. The buffer unit includes a rope reel and a driven gear. The second axle includes a driving gear, a first buckling member, and a handle that controls the driving gear to engage with the driven gear for retracting a rope via the rope reel. The shell includes a button, having a second buckling member, movably mounted thereon and being pushed by a spring. When the driving gear is engaged with the driven gear, the button is actuated to couple the second buckling member with the first buckling member to enable the rope being smoothly retracted. As the button is pressed, the first buckling member is released to disengage the driving gear with the driven gear.

Safety restraint system for an elevated worker's bucket

A safety restraint system for use by a worker working in a bucket, including a primary tether line that securely encircles the bucket at a position adjacent to the upper rim thereof; at least a pair of straps connected to the tether line on opposite sides of the bucket; a safety harness or aerial belt adapted to be worn by the worker and having at least a pair of clips attached thereto; and at least a pair of straps that interconnect the harness buckles to the straps on the tether line, thereby interconnecting the harness to the tether line.

OUTDOOR TOILET SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
20170354301 · 2017-12-14 ·

A lightweight portable outdoor toilet system configured to support a user while facing toward a tree or another fixed anchor point during a personal moment. The system can be used to hover directly over the ground or with a detachable pouch configured to support a single use liner.

Adjustable body belt having D-rings/attachments

A single and multiple body belt for use by linemen and others engaged in operations on poles or similar structures having at least a primary body belt, which can be disposed below and detachably connected to a secondary body belt in the multiple body belt configuration. The primary body belt and the secondary body belt each have at least one pair of D-rings. The D-rings, which may differ in size, are separated enough to allow a wearer to distinguish between devices that are normally solely attached to one pair of primary D-rings. The body belts (or other portions) may also have an adjustability section through which a belt strap is woven to either extend or shorten the length of the respective belt strap. The adjustability section allows a lineman to further adjust the tightness of the belt (or other portions) around his or her waist to provide improved support and safety.

CARABINER AND SECURING ASSEMBLY FOR A SAFE SECURING SYSTEM
20170348555 · 2017-12-07 ·

A safety restraint system for a person comprising two carabiners configured to receive at least one restraint element, each of the carabiners comprising a hook for receiving the element, a gate comprising a first branch forming a door and a second branch for actuating the door, a first means for locking the gate in a holding configuration. The system further comprising a transmission device connecting the carabiners together, the device arranged to make it impossible to switch from a state in which each of the carabiners is secured to an element to a state in which neither of the carabiners are secured to an element.

Disclosed is a shock absorption device including a dual fall prevention band connected to a safety rope connected to a safety harness that a worker wears. The shock absorption device including the dual fall prevention band includes a dual fall prevention band and a shock absorption band. The dual fall prevention band is shaped like a closed loop by coupling opposite ends thereof through a first seam, and the first ring, the second ring, a third ring, and a fourth ring are formed by coupling parts of the dual fall prevention band that face each other at a first position to each other through a second seam, and coupling parts of the dual fall prevention band that face each other at a second position to each other through a third seam.

Height rescue apparatus

There is provided a height rescue apparatus comprising a safety line (1) which is attached at (3) to a flexible elongate element (2) which has a lower tensile strength than the safety line 1 which is wound on a drum (9) which is part of a speed control means. A friction device (5) acts on a portion of the safety line (1) to reduce tension in said portion of the safety line by at least 50% in a full arrest situation. The drum (9) or the speed control means is held in a first position which prevents rotation of the drum and release means can be actuated after the fall arrest to allow the drum to provide a controlled lowering action.
