PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WITH ANALYTICAL STREAM PROCESSING FOR SAFETY EVENT DETECTION
In some examples, a system includes an article of personal protective equipment (PPE) having at least one sensor configured to generate a stream of usage data; and an analytical stream processing component comprising: a communication component that receives the stream of usage data; a memory configured to store at least a portion of the stream of usage data and at least one model for detecting a safety event signature, wherein the at least one model is trained based as least in part on a set of usage data generated by one or more other articles of PPE of a same type as the article of PPE; and one or more computer processors configured to: detect the safety event signature in the stream of usage data based on processing the stream of usage data with the model, and generate an output in response to detecting the safety event signature.
Device for inflating multiple envelopes
A portable safety device (100) for inflating multiple envelopes includes at least one inlet for surrounding air (1), at least one inflation system, at least one enriched air or gas zone, at least one nonreturn valve (2), at least one connector (3) connected to the at least one inflatable envelope (4). The device also includes at least one separation wall (8), which compartmentalizes at least the end of at the connector (3) opening into at least two substantially hermetically independent inflatable envelopes (4).
Lever adapter for use with jack and lifting devices
Embodiments in the present description are provided for a lever adapter device for use in lifting a vehicle or other heavy objects. Additional embodiments in the present description are provided for a Bi-pod rescue strut system for use in stabilizing a vehicle or other object. The lever adapter device includes stabilizing feet and one or more support legs. The lever adapter device further includes a hinge disposed at an end of each support leg. Each support leg is extendable and retractable towards or away from the other support leg. The lever adapter device further includes a jack attachment piece and one or more hinges, which are also connected to the one or more support legs. The jack attachment piece is configured to be removably connected to a jack, such as a HI-LIFT jack, or to other lifting devices to assist in lifting the vehicle or the other heavy objects.

AUTOMATED EMERGENCY RESPONSE
A method and system for automatically detecting a location is provided. The method includes receiving by a vehicle, data describing a specified geographical area of a collapsed structure. A received control signal enables control of the vehicle such that the vehicle initiates motion and navigates in a specified direction towards the specified geographical area and upon arriving at the specified geographical area, a size and a magnitude of the collapsed structure is determined via sensors of the vehicle. A center location of the collapsed structure is determined and the vehicle hovers above the center location. Geographical coordinates of the location above the center location are transmitted to a search and rescue system and the center location is scanned via ground penetrating radar. Open spaces within the collapsed structure are determined and scanned to locate living entities within the open spaces.

Aspirator for Air Flow Amplification
An augmentation amplifier is provided for aspirating gas flow from a surrounding medium. The amplifier connects at an inlet to a pressurized gas source and at an outlet to a gas receiver. Ambient gas from the medium supplements source provided compressed gas. The amplifier includes a Venturi conduit including a throat, an external cavity and a diffusion chamber. The conduit receives and flows pressurized gas from the inlet to the throat. The cavity receives ambient gas from the medium. The chamber expands and accelerates the pressurized gas from the throat to entrain the ambient gas via aspiration. The accelerated and ambient gases combine into an exhaust gas to the outlet.
