A vehicle including a body and an aerial device operable to rotate, extend, and retract relative to the body. The vehicle further includes a control panel, an electronic display, a computer control system, and an aerial elevation sensor that senses an elevation of the aerial device, wherein the computer control system receives a piece of data corresponding with the elevation and generates a graphical representation of the current operating ability of the aerial device based on the elevation that is displayed on the electronic display of the control panel.

Autonomous Fire Vehicle

This invention relates to the development of an autonomous fire vehicle that is capable of performing one or more of the following functions: detecting water supplies such as a fire hydrant or other sources of water suitable for firefighting, detecting the location of a fire, detecting the location of other fire/police/first responder vehicles, detection of smoke, and analysis of smoke/fire content to determine type of fuel being burned. The autonomous fire vehicle contains a drive by wire kit, a database storing the collection routes, a database storing the collection routes, a database of rules of the road or other legal allowable behavior, sensors for detecting the pedestrians, cars, and other road obstacles, and a control system that controls the vehicle to follow routes while performing the above functions.

METHOD OF PROTECTING LIFE, PROPERTY, HOMES AND BUSINESSES FROM WILD FIRE BY PROACTIVELY APPLYING ENVIRONMENTALLY-CLEAN ANTI-FIRE (AF) CHEMICAL LIQUID SPRAY IN ADVANCE OF WILD FIRE ARRIVAL AND MANAGED USING A WIRELESS NETWORK WITH GPS-TRACKING

A method of protecting life, property, homes and businesses from wild fire by applying environmentally-clean anti-fire (AF) liquid spray using a wireless network supported by GPS-tracking techniques GPS-specified maps and task reports are generated on the wireless network informing when environmentally-clean anti-fire (AF) chemical liquid should be spray applied to said GPS-specified private property using a GPI-tracking AF chemical liquid spraying system prior to arrival of wild fires. The preferred clean anti-fire chemical liquid used does not depend on water to extinguish fire, so that, even after a month or two after spray application on buildings and dry brush around the neighborhood, the clean anti-fire chemical continues to work by stalling the ability of a wild fire to advance and consume property and homes.

Wet-dry fire extinguishing agent

Fire extinguishing systems and methods, such as for combating compartment fires, can include or use wet and dry agents such as water droplets and aerosol-based particulate extinguisher agents. In an example, an extinguishing system includes a centralized extinguishing controller that can selectively provide the wet and dry agents to a compartment or environment. In other examples, dedicated dispenser systems separately, but optionally concurrently, provide water and aerosol-based agents to combat a compartment fire.

Fire fighting system

A mobile firefighting system includes a water cannon enabled for spraying slush on or near a fire. The slush includes solid material (e.g., ice, solid fire retardant) that is projected farther than a liquid could be projected using high pressure. The slush has enhanced fire suppression and fire protection characteristics compared to a liquid. Multiple tanks add enhanced slush chilling capability (e.g., through sequenced chilling) and provide redundant backup systems. A mobile cannon includes multiple reducing nozzles that can be aimed by a rotating base and hydraulic cylinder (for raising and lowering). Continuous tracks and winches contribute to all-terrain capabilities.
