Primary and secondary pumps can selectively pump the coating material in stationary and/or moving modes. The apparatus can be NFPA 1901 compliant, and can operate as a fire truck or vehicle. Optionally, the system can include a venturi to mix the polymer with liquid to produce the coating material. Related methods of use are provided.

Fire spikes, fire spike tips, and methods of suppressing fire

Fire spikes and fire spike tips adapted to penetrate a surface and distribute a fire suppressant, such as, water, on the opposite side of the surface are provided. The fire spike tips include a cylindrical body having a first end adapted to be received by a conduit and a second end having a pointed projection adapted to penetrate the surface; an internal cavity in the cylindrical body having an open first end and a closed second end; a plurality of first orifices in the body, each of the plurality of first orifices directed in a first substantially radial direction; and a plurality of second orifices in the body, each of the plurality of second orifices directed in a second direction which at least partially intersects with the first direction of the plurality of first orifices. Kits for the fire spikes and methods of suppressing fire are also provided.

Wireless neighborhood wildfire defense system network supporting proactive protection of life and property in a neighborhood through GPS-tracking and mapping of environmentally-clean anti-fire (AF) chemical liquid spray applied to the property before wild fires reach the neighborhood
11633636 · 2023-04-25 · ·

A wireless wild fire defense system network supporting proactive protection of life and property in GPS-specified neighborhoods using GPS-managed delivery of environmentally-clean anti-fire (AF) chemical liquid spray to property before wild fire reaches the neighborhoods. The wireless system network includes a GPS system for providing GPS-location services to each system components in the wireless system network. A wireless communication network supports one or more network databases accessible by systems and devices deployed on the wireless communication network. A fleet of mobile GPS-tracked anti-fire liquid spraying systems are assigned to GPS-specified neighborhoods for spraying anti-fire chemical liquid on combustible property, buildings, and ground cover to inhibit fire ignition and flame spread wherever the anti-fire chemical liquid is sprayed. When allowed to dry, the anti-fire chemical liquid provides fire-protection status to sprayed property that is GPS-tracked and mapped within a network database maintained on the wireless communication network, recording wherever the environmentally-safe anti-fire chemical liquid has been spray applied. The system network includes mobile computing systems, each running a mobile application and deployed to a property owner, spray contractor or other stakeholder, such as firefighters and property insurance inspectors, for remotely monitoring the fire-protection status of property in any GPS-specified neighborhood, at any time on any specified date, along with the status of active wild fires surrounding the neighborhood. A command center deployed on the wireless system network transmits wild fire alerts and notifications and property spray orders, and supports microservices configured for monitoring and managing GPS-tracked spraying operations within GPS-specified neighborhoods. Through GPS-managed delivery of anti-fire chemical liquid spray on property surfaces before arrival of wild fire, fire ignition and flame spread are inhibited, and human and animal life and property are protected.

Method of proactively protecting property from wild fire by spraying environmentally-clean anti-fire chemical liquid on property surfaces prior to wild fire arrival using remote sensing and GPS-tracking and mapping enabled spraying
11638844 · 2023-05-02 · ·

A method of proactively protecting property and buildings constructed thereon from wild fire by spraying environmentally-clean anti-fire (AF) chemical liquid prior to the arrival of wild fires. Intelligence data is remotely collected relating to risks of wild fires in specified regions, and maintained in a network database, and used to generate anti-fire (AF) spray protection maps and task reports for execution in the specified region. Prior to the arrival of a wild fire to the region, and based on the GPS-specified anti-fire (AF) spray protection maps and task reports, application servers deployed on a wireless system network issue a request or order to the property owner, or its registered contractor, to apply clean AF chemical liquid spray on the GPS-specified parcel of property using a GPS-specified AF chemical liquid spraying system, so as to proactively protect the property prior to presence of wild fire.

Fire Fighting System

A mobile firefighting system includes a water cannon enabled for spraying slush on or near a fire. The slush includes solid material (e.g., ice, solid fire retardant) that is projected farther than a liquid could be projected using high pressure. The slush has enhanced fire suppression and fire protection characteristics compared to a liquid. Multiple tanks add enhanced slush chilling capability (e.g., through sequenced chilling) and provide redundant backup systems. A mobile cannon includes multiple reducing nozzles that can be aimed by a rotating base and hydraulic cylinder (for raising and lowering). Continuous tracks and winches contribute to all-terrain capabilities.
