Helicopter-mounted fire suppression delivery system
A firefighting system is delivered from a helicopter and capable of dispersing foam, water, or a chemical flame retardant at a given distance upon a conflagration. The system has a plurality of wheels secured to an underside surface which permits the system to be easily moved from beneath a helicopter to be recharged. The system is configured to operate in conjunction in low light or low visibility conditions.

CRYPTOGRAPHIC TRANSDUCER CALIBRATION SYSTEM FOR HOSE ASSEMBLY TEST BENCHES
A testbench system is disclosed. The system includes a network interface; a memory storage; a transducer; and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to operate in a first phase and: perform calibration of the transducer and generate calibration data; generate a unique identification (CTS-ID) for the transducer based on the calibration data; mark the transducer with the CTS-ID; and provide the CTS-ID and the calibration data to the network interface for transmission to a database
Automatically releasable hose reel assembly
A reel assembly (10) having a spool (20) comprising a drum core (22) and side disc flanges (24) attached to the drum core (22) for retaining a wound hose (26) on the spool (20), and a release mechanism (120) operatively engaging the spool (20) via a drive shaft (110). The release mechanism (120) has a pair of rotatable hubs (132, 134) arranged in axial alignment and having a clamping spring (136) fitted around the rotatable hubs (132, 134) and arranged to clamp the hubs (132, 134) together in fixed rotational relation, wherein the clamping spring (136) opens to releases the rotatable hubs (132, 134) when the spool (20) is rotated in a payout direction so that the rotatable hubs (132, 134) disengage and the spool (20) can freewheel.

BREATHABLE GAS AND WATER HOSE APPARATUS
The present invention provides a system which allows a hose apparatus to be used to deliver water and air to the user at all times, eliminating the need for users to rely on breathable gas supplied by tanks. The invention includes the use of a breathable gas hose in the interior of the jacket of the water hose such that both breathable gas and water are delivered through the hose apparatus simultaneously. The breathable gas hose is protected within an outer jacket surrounding the water hose. The system allows for easy connect and disconnect of the air supply to the user's breathing apparatus and can be used with standard self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) typically used by firefighters. The system, however, overrides the SCBA system such that the user does not have to manually switch between the breathable gas and water hose apparatus and an SCBA system.

High-Efficiency Smooth Bore Nozzles
A high efficiency nozzle is designed. The nozzle allows water streams with long-range and high surface area in one system. Suitable transitions in the fluid pathways allow creating water streams that have a robust flow profile. The system allows minimum energy loss whilst maximizing the velocity and surface area. Such nozzles can be used for a variety of applications including but not limited to fire suppression, pressure washing, watering, and other such applications.
Firefighting valve assemblies, hose lays, hose packs, and methods of using same
Various implementations of a firefighting valve assembly are disclosed. The firefighting valve assembly is especially suitable for fighting wildland fires. In some implementation, the firefighting valve assembly has a spatial profile that makes it easy to pack with long bundles of firefighting hose and easy to connect segments of firefighting hose as part of a hose lay. In some implementations, the firefighting valve assembly has a spatial profile that prevents it from inadvertently opening or closing when the hose is moved or pulled along the ground.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INTEGRATION OF A FIRE HOSE WITH A BREATHABLE AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM
A breathable air supply system within a structure includes a fixed piping system permanently installed therewithin serving as a source of breathable air, and an emergency air fill site communicatively coupled to the fixed piping system to port a regulated, pressurized volume of the breathable air out through a first connector thereof. The first connector is connectably complementary to a second connector of a fire hose configured to carry a fire suppression agent through a first channel thereof. The second connector is communicatively coupled to a second channel of the fire hose separate from the first channel and configured to carry the regulated, pressurized volume of the breathable air therethrough to an SCBA of a user. Connection of the first connector to the second connector supplies the regulated, pressurized volume of the breathable air through the second channel to an end of the fire hose couplable to the SCBA.
