A utility connection system can include a primary utility spline having a length and a support frame. The utility connection system can include one or more utility conduits extending along at least a portion of the length of the primary utility spline and supported by the support frame. The system can include a sensor hub including one or more sensors; and one or more branch access interfaces having one or more ports in communication with the one or more utility conduits. The utility connection system can include a branch utility spline connected to the primary utility spline at the one or more branch access interfaces.

Fire suppression system

A fire suppression system includes a high pressure inert gas source configured to provide a first inert gas output and a low pressure inert gas source configured to provide a second inert gas output. A distribution network is connected with the high pressure inert gas source and the low pressure inert gas source to distribute the first inert gas output and the second inert gas output throughout a confined space. A volume reduction system is positioned within the confined space and includes a seal member. The seal member is selectively deployable between a first position and a second position to isolate a first volume of the confined space from a second volume of the confined space and reduce an amount of the first inert gas output and the second inert gas output required to respond to a fire threat within the confined space.

Fracturing device

A fracturing device, including a power unit, wherein the power unit comprises a muffling compartment, a turbine engine, an air intake unit, and a starter; the air intake unit is communicated with the turbine engine through an intake pipe, and configured to provide a combustion-supporting gas to the turbine engine; the air intake unit is located at the top of the muffling compartment, the muffling compartment comprises an accommodation space, the turbine engine and the starter are located in the accommodation space, and the starter is configured to start the turbine engine, the starter comprises a first electric motor.

Inerting gas vent assembly, inerting system using the gas vent assembly and method of inerting a fire protection sprinkler system

A fire protection sprinkler system and method of inerting a fire protection sprinkler system includes connecting an inerting system to the piping network of a fire protection sprinkler system having a piping network and at least one sprinkler head connected with the piping network. The inerting system includes an inert gas source that is adapted to supply inert gas to the piping network and an inerting gas vent assembly. The gas vent assembly has a gas vent adapted to discharge gas, a solenoid and a control. The solenoid is adapted to selectively open the gas vent and to close the gas vent. The gas vent discharges gas when the solenoid opens the gas vent and does not discharge gas when the solenoid closes the gas vent. The control is adapted to operate the solenoid in a manner that allows the gas vent to discharge gas for a limited amount of time.

A system is disclosed which is operable to supply fire suppressant material (6) and marker (7) to at least one spray head unit (2) for producing spray having a droplet size less than 1000 m. The system may be operable in two modes. The system may be operable in fire suppressing mode to supply fire suppressant material to the one or more spray heads and in marker deployment mode to supply fire suppressant material and marker to the one or more spray heads. In fire suppressing mode, the system supplies the fire suppressant material for a long period of time, for example, a few tens of minutes. In marker deployment mode the system supplies the fire suppressant material and marker to the spray heads for a short period of time, for example, a few tens of seconds.

Water collecting pallet rack and method of fire protection

An open framework warehouse storage rack system for supporting articles on multi-tiered shelves within the wetting zone of an overhead fire sprinkler system. The storage rack system comprises one or more a longitudinally extending rack arrays. A falling water collection system is combined with some or all of the rack arrays. The falling water collection system includes any one of several water handling features that enhance the wetting of storage articles during a fire. One such feature is a scoop-like longitudinal water catcher that protrudes outwardly beyond the front and/or rear faces of the rack array. Another is a transverse intra-stanchion water diverter. Another is a transverse mid-span water diverter. Another is a gutter formed integrally in an uppermost beam. And another is a vertical flue catcher. The falling water collection system maximizes the amount of water that is applied directly to a fire inside the rack array.
