Repositionable console
A vehicle includes a chassis, tractive assemblies coupled to the chassis, a body assembly coupled to the chassis, a turntable rotatably coupled to the chassis, a platform coupled to the turntable and configured to support an operator, and a control console. The control console includes a base section coupled to the turntable and a movable section that is movably coupled to the base section. The movable section includes an operator interface configured to receive commands from the operator to control one or more systems of the vehicle. The movable section of the control console is selectively repositionable relative to the base section between a stowed position and an operating position. The operator interface is configured to be accessed by the operator when the operator is supported by the platform and the movable section is in the operating position.

Systems and methods for coding hose appliance to a fire-fighting device
A method for coding a hose appliance with a fire-fighting device is provided. The method includes providing a codable hose appliance on the fire-fighting device, where the hose appliance includes a unique identifier. The method further includes sensing the unique identifier with a sensor associated with a portion of the fire-fighting device, and coding, using a control module communicatively coupled to the sensor, the hose appliance to the portion of the fire-fighting device in response to the sensor sensing the unique identifier. Coding the hose appliance to the portion of the fire-fighting device enables the hose appliance to control fluid flow from the fire-fighting device.

Fire-fighting control system
A control system for use with a fire-fighting device includes a remote component having a touch sensitive screen configured to receive a user-requested parameter of fluid and to display a plurality of indicators associated with the fire-fighting device. The control system also includes a base component including a programmable logic controller having predefined logic stored thereon. The base component automatically controls operation of the pump based on the predefined logic and the user-requested parameter of fluid. The remote component receives signals from the base component and presents, via the touch sensitive screen, at least one of a first of the plurality of indicators indicative of a water volume associated with a first water source stored at a fire fighting device, and a second of the plurality of indicators indicative of a water pressure associated with a second water source remote from the fire-fighting device.

Retrofit fire extinguisher apparatus
A retrofit unit for retrofitting a fire extinguisher, the retrofit unit including a body portion, having a connector for connection to the fire extinguisher, an electronic pressure sensor, connected to the body portion, and adapted to sense pressure within the fire extinguisher, a processor adapted to control operation of the pressure sensor and to receive at least one pressure signal sensed by the electronic pressure sensor, a power source adapted to provide power to the processor and to the electronic pressure sensor. The retrofit unit may be fitted onto a fire extinguisher for measuring pressure therein, instead of, or in addition to, a mechanical pressure gauge.
Stove top fire extinguishing device
An apparatus is disclosed for extinguishing a stovetop fire over a stovetop having a first burner, the apparatus including a container detachably mountable to a microwave positioned above the stove top. A supply of fire suppressant material is retained within the container. A heat responsive actuator is disposed on the container. When the container is mounted to the microwave over the first burner, and the fire actuates the heat responsive actuator, at least a portion of the supply of fire suppressant material falls from the container toward the first burner.
