In one implementation, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a computer system, information that indicates that a fire has been detected in a building and that a fire suppression system within the building has begun dousing the fire; monitoring sensor information from one or more sensors located within the building; determining, by the computer system and based on the sensor information, whether the fire has been extinguished; activating, in response to determining that the fire has been extinguished, a feature to turn off a water supply to the building, the feature being presented on a computing device for a user who is associated with the building; receiving, after activating the feature and from the computing device, a command to turn off the water supply; and transmitting, by the computer system, a control signal that causes an electromechanical device to close a water valve within the building.

Stove top fire extinguishing device

An apparatus is disclosed for extinguishing a stovetop fire over a stovetop having a first burner, the apparatus including a container detachably mountable to a microwave positioned above the stove top. A supply of fire suppressant material is retained within the container. A heat responsive actuator is disposed on the container. When the container is mounted to the microwave over the first burner, and the fire actuates the heat responsive actuator, at least a portion of the supply of fire suppressant material falls from the container toward the first burner.

Cargo fire-suppression agent distribution system

A cargo-fire-suppression agent distribution system and methods are presented. A fire-warning signal indicating presence of fire in a cargo compartment onboard a class E cargo aircraft at a first altitude is received. An initial fire-suppression agent is distributed in the cargo compartment at the first altitude sufficient to suppress fire for an initial fire suppression time interval during a depressurization phase during which the class E cargo aircraft flies to a second altitude below the first altitude. A re-enforcing fire-suppression agent is distributed in the cargo compartment during a re-pressurization phase when a cabin altitude is below a predetermined cabin pressure level (PL) during which the class E cargo aircraft flies from the second altitude to a landing, after the initial fire-suppression time interval elapses. The re-enforcing fire-suppression agent distribution is maintained during a re-enforcing fire-suppression time interval.

Spraying system of battery pack, and battery pack

The present application provides a battery pack and a spraying system thereof. The spraying system comprises: a spraying pipeline configured to circulate a fire-fighting fluid circulation, the spraying pipeline being capable of forming an opening after being heated; and a first gas storage portion configured to store a compressed gas, where the compressed gas in the first gas storage portion is capable of driving the fire-fighting fluid in the spraying pipeline to be discharged under the action of gas pressure. In the present application, the gas pressure of the compressed gas in the first gas storage portion can provide the power for discharging the fire-fighting fluid from the opening of the spraying pipeline, such that the fire-fighting fluid can be continuously discharged from the spraying pipeline, and there is a large flow rate in the discharging process, so as to ensure that the spraying system has a good spraying effect.
