APPARATUS FOR CONFIGURING AN EXERCISING PERFORMANCE AREA
20200087098 · 2020-03-19 ·

An apparatus for configuring an exercise performance area is described that includes a handle, a shank, a spindle, and a rotation handle. The shank is mechanically connected to the handle and holds a spindle a distance away from the handle. The spindle includes a number of spindle parts, the spindle parts forming a groove. A rotation handle is mechanically connected to the spindle, and, when turned, causes the spindle to rotate. The apparatus aids in applying floor strips to mats on an exercise performance area.

Elevated yard game

Embodiments described herein relate to a system which includes a first vertical support, a second vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, a third vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, and a fourth vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, a first, second, third, and fourth elevation couplers releasably attachable proximate an end of the corresponding vertical supports, a first, second, third, and fourth outer horizontal members releasably coupleable to extend between the elevation couplers perpendicular to the vertical supports, and first and second inner horizontal member extending between the outer horizontal members to be oriented substantially perpendicular to the vertical supports and overlap each other to form an elevated grid suitable for a game.

Competition mat protection device

A competition mat protection device includes an elongate body that has a length and a width that correspond to the length and width of a competition mat. The elongate body has a bottom surface that is positioned on a top surface of the competition mat when the competition mat is in a deployed configuration. When the competition mat is rolled up to a stowed configuration, the elongate body of the mat protection device is positioned between the top surface and a bottom surface of the competition mat to prevent the transfer of dirt and bacteria from the bottom surface onto the top surface of the competition mat. The elongate body has a length to extend around the competition mat in the stowed configuration to protect an outer surface of the mat.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLIMBING

Systems and methods for providing climbing walls are discussed. While such systems and methods can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a climbing wall that has a base member and a climbing surface that includes at least one climbing hold. In some cases, the climbing surface is pivotally connected to the base member. Additionally, in some cases, the system includes an anchor that is configured to adjustably retain the climbing surface at an angle with respect to the base member. In some cases, the system further includes a camera, microphone, and/or display that are configured to allow a climber to have audio and/or visual interactions with another person in a remote location (e.g., for training, competition, etc.). In some cases, at least one climbing hold on the climbing surface comprises a sensor that is configured to indicate when a climber has used that hold. Other implementations are described.
