Image-stream windowing system and method
An image-stream windowing method includes capturing, with a camera located at a fixed position and having a fixed field of view, a high-resolution image stream of an object that moves during said capturing. The high-resolution image stream includes a sequence of high-resolution frames. The method also includes determining, for each high-resolution frame of the sequence of high-resolution frames, a respective window, of a sequence of windows corresponding to the sequence of high-resolution frames, that encloses the object within said each high-resolution frame. The size and location of the respective window are determined based at least on the fixed position, the fixed field of view, and a position of the object. The method also includes generating a low-resolution image stream from the high-resolution image stream by cropping said each high-resolution frame with its respective window.
Exercise device
A exercise ball device can include a ball and one or more panels supported by the ball. The ball can be substantially rigid and the at least one panel can be soft or resiliently deformable. The exercise ball can include a belt for guiding and positioning the one or more panels on the ball.
Non-glued laminated ball and manufacturing method thereof
A non-glued laminated ball includes an inner bladder, a yarn layer, a rubber layer and an outer cover layer. The yarn layer sticks to an outer surface of the inner bladder. The rubber layer is provided between the yarn layer and the outer cover layer. The outer cover layer includes a plurality of outer covers. Stalk lines are provided among the outer covers. Bottom layers of the outer covers are required to be loose. The outer covers bond to a rubber raw material of the rubber layer through a mold-closing pressurization bonding. Then, through vulcanizing, the rubber raw material permeates into the yarn layer and the loose bottom layers of the outer covers for integrating the inner bladder, the yarn layer, the rubber layer and the outer cover layer together. No glue, industrial gasoline or methylbenzene is provided between the outer cover layer and the rubber layer.
Baseball and softball pitching training aid
A pitching training aid is provided. The pitching training aid includes an elongated poll having a first end, a second end, and a common axis running from the first end to the second end. The present invention further includes a ball having a slot running from a first side to a second side opposite the first side along a center of the ball. The slot is sized to fit around the elongated poll so that the ball slidably engages the elongated poll along the common center axis. A first stopper is secured to the first end of the elongated poll and a second stopper is secured to the second end of the elongated poll. The first stopper and the second stopper have a diameter greater than a diameter of the elongated poll, thereby preventing the ball from sliding off of the elongated poll.
Baseball pitching training device
A baseball pitching training device used to instruct the throwing of a fastball, curveball, and change-up by a right handed pitcher through indicia placement on the baseball cover while maintaining the structural integrity of the baseball. The indicia provide finger alignment to grip the baseball needed to throw the desired pitch used in the sport of baseball. Correct finger alignment allows the baseball to sit in the right hand supported by the thumb, and non grip finger(s) to throw the chosen baseball pitch.
Anchor fitting for hollow ball
An improved anchor fitting (10) for anchoring a tether cord (22) to a hollow ball (12). The anchor fitting (10) includes an anchor body (16) comprising a shank portion (18) and a head (20) at one end of the shank portion. The anchor body is received in a hole (14) in the wall of the ball and defines an axial passage through which the tether cord extends. The anchor fitting includes two rigid shoulder-defining bodies (26) and (28) which are located within the ball and which extend perpendicularly relative to one another when assembled. The shoulder-defining bodies define holes in which the shank portion of the anchor body is received, with the head (20) abutting an inner side of the shoulder-defining body (28). A flexible resilient rubber washer (34) is located between the shoulder-defining bodies and an interior side of the wall for absorption of impact forces acting on the wall of the ball when the ball is struck by a bat.
Device for Displaying in Response to a Sensed Motion
A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. The device may be used as a toy, and may be shaped like a play ball or as a handheld unit. It may be powered from a battery, either chargeable from an AC power source directly or contactless by using induction or by converting electrical energy from harvested kinetic energy. The embedded logic may activate or control the signaling means, predictably or randomly, in response to sensed acceleration magnitude or direction, such as sensing the crossing of a preset threshold or sensing the peak value. The visual means may be a numeric display for displaying a value associated with the count of the number of times the threshold has been exceeded or the peak magnitude of the acceleration sensed.

Tennis Practice Assembly
A tennis practice assembly for enhancing hand eye coordination during tennis practice includes a practice tennis ball that has a diameter which is less than a traditional tennis ball. In this way the practice tennis ball can enhance hand-eye coordination of a tennis player during tennis practice. The practice tennis ball has a diameter ranging between approximately 1.5 inches and 2.5 inches. In this way the practice tennis ball is large enough to be used for practicing tennis while being smaller than a traditional tennis ball. The practice tennis ball has ornamental indicia printed thereon for enhancing the ornamental appearance of the practice tennis ball.
Multifunctional leg strengthening device
This present invention relates to a multifunctional leg strengthening device for users to strengthen the lower extremities. The multifunctional leg strengthening device includes a resistance band that is removably attached to an exercise ball, such that the resistance band can be easily held by the user's hand while holding the exercise ball between the calves or thighs for performing leg strengthening exercises. The innovative multifunctional leg strengthening device may comprise a rigid or flexible resistance band. Also, the band may feature a pocket to accommodate the rigid stick or rod inside the pocket. The rigid stick design helps accommodate those with decreased lower body strength, thereby ensuring the muscles can be strengthened and rehabilitated.
