WALKING TRAINING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A walking training device according to the present embodiment includes: a robot leg attached to one leg of a trainee; a treadmill; a load distribution sensor that detects a distribution of a load received from a sole of the trainee riding on the belt of the treadmill; and a walking state determination unit that determines whether the one leg has switched from a standing state to a swinging state based on a state of increase in a load detected by the load distribution sensor and received from another leg of the trainee performing walking training; and a control unit that starts bending control for the swinging state of the robot leg when the walking state determination unit determines that the one leg has switched from the standing state to the swinging state.
Method for Measuring a Player's Swing Time
A method for improving a player's performance, such as reaction time or swing time by measuring the time it takes a player to change from a load position to a swing position where the player's bat makes contact with the ball when presented with a stimulus emitted from a timer. This method measures the time elapsed by utilizing a timer that configured to emit a stimulus, such as an audible sound, receive an external stimulus, such as the sound of the player's bat making contact with the ball, record the time elapsed, and present the time on a display.
EXERCISE BAND, KIT, AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An exercise band including a waist band and a resistance band. The waist band is configured to be wrapped around the waist of a user and the resistance band is stretchable between an unstretched position and a stretched position. The waist band is configured to be releasably connected to the resistance band. Further, an exercise kit including a waist band and a number of resistance bands is disclosed. Each resistance bands in the exercise kit requires a different force for stretching the resistance band between the unstretched and stretched positions. Furthermore, a method for a user to exercise is disclosed. The method includes providing an exercise band, wrapping the waist band around the waist of the user, crossing the resistance band, stepping onto a portion of the resistance band, and performing squatting exercises such that the resistance band opposes the user's movement during the squatting exercise.
Physical training apparatus and method for using the same
A physical training apparatus for use in striking training, the apparatus comprising: a frame having a perimeter member extending substantially along a perimeter member plane and a support assembly for supporting the perimeter member above a ground surface such that the perimeter member plane is substantially horizontal, the perimeter member surrounding a central space for receiving an instructor; and a plurality of striking targets suspended from the perimeter member, the striking targets being positioned around the central space to allow a user positioned radially outwardly from the frame, adjacent one of the striking targets and facing inwardly towards the central space, to interact with the striking target while maintaining visual contact with the instructor when the instructor is positioned in the central space.
Golf swing training device and methods of using the same
Systems and methods for a golf training aid which is designed to orient the player initially to have a correct backswing of the club and then follow through with a fairly natural downswing to produce the desired ball flight characteristics. In an embodiment, there is provided a device that encourages a user to practice a golf swing having a sufficiently steep angle for the plane of the swing.
SOUND EMITTING HOCKEY PUCK
A puck includes a cylinder having a curvilinear sidewall extending about and centered with a central longitudinal axis, and a plurality of sound emitting structures connected to the sidewall. At least one sound emitting structure is configured to emit sound when the puck rotates about the central longitudinal axis at or above a threshold rotational speed and translates at or above a threshold translational speed. The puck may include top and bottom surfaces having peripheral rims or flanges that extend beyond the periphery of the sidewall, thereby protecting the sound emitting structures from contact from a hockey stick blade.
Dry swim simulation system
A dry swim simulation system is described. A portion of the system includes a platform extending vertically from the base platform and a first and a second retractable pulley. Another portion of the system includes a first support assembly comprising a first movable cradle configured to receive thighs of the user and a second support assembly. The second support assembly includes a second movable cradle configured to receive a torso of the user, a computing device, and a headrest comprising an opening configured to receive a face of the user such that the user views the computing device. The computing device is configured to receive parameters associated with the user during use of the dry swim simulation system from numerous electrical and/or mechanical components. The computing device is configured to analyze the parameters and provide real-time feedback to the user to improve performance of swimming strokes.
Gymnastic Machine for Weightlifting
A gymnastic machine for weightlifting includes: a load-bearing frame, two opposite first lateral guides, upward-downward, developed according to a first direction, two first slides each slidingly constrained on a corresponding first lateral guide, two opposite second lateral guides, developed according to a second direction transversal to the first direction, and each defined on board of one of the first slides, two second slides each slidingly constrained on a corresponding second lateral guide, a lifting bar, each of the ends of the lifting bar being constrained to a corresponding second slide, a motorised transmission configured for applying to the first slides either an opposing force to an upward thrust force, or a downward traction force.
DEVICE FOR ARM-STRENGTH TRAINING
A training device useful at least for exercises for bicep workouts and strengthening is configurable for multiple types of movement and use. The training device has a frame, two arm cradles attached in variable configurations, and a multi-use strap. The arm cradles are removable from the frame for re-configuration or for storage and transport. To configure the training device for compact storage and transportation, the arm cradles can be detached, nestled into the inner side of the frame, and wrapped by the strap. To attain various workout configurations, the arm cradles can be interchanged on the frame, reoriented on the frame, and adjusted to preferred lateral positions on the frame.
Tennis teaching tool
A teaching tool for use by an instructor teaching proper footwork and effective swing techniques to students of the game of tennis as well as to students of other racket-based sports. The teaching tool provides an elongated member and a mounting member extending perpendicularly from the distal end of the elongated member. A target object is connected to the distal end of the mounting member. The target object and distal end of the elongated member may be separated by a target distance defined, in part, by the size of racket the student is using. In use, the instructor can directly and selectively control the movement of the target object to simulate imparted spin and motion of the target object before and after the student strikes the target object.
