Decontamination procedure using a biofilter to retain and recycle particulate matter from combustion fumes
A fume decontamination system connected to any combustion system which comprises seven devices interconnected sequentially in the following manner: an extraction device is first connected to the combustion system and then connected by the other end to a guiding device which, in turn, is connected to a cooling device. Once cooled, the combustion gases are channeled to a suction device in which the gases are driven under pressure to an induction device which, in turn, concentrates the gases and directs same to the injection plenum, the concentrated, cooled gases being distributed at constant volumes to the entire biological plant filtering device and its decontamination procedure.
GRAIN PRODUCTION WITH FIELD CONDITIONED POLLEN
Described are methods of grain production with field conditioned pollen. A method of the present invention includes growing one or more designated female plants that include both female and male components, collecting fresh pollen from designated male plants from a different genetic background, and subjecting the fresh pollen to field conditions, which may regulate pollen moisture content. The field conditioning conditions may include a relative humidity ranging from about 50% to about 100%, a temperature ranging from about −10-10° C., and an air pressure ranging from about 15 kPa to about 150 kPa. These conditions may result in pollen having a moisture content of about 40% to about 58%. The one or more designated female plants are intentionally cross-pollinated with the field conditioned pollen and then grown to maturity such that the grain may be harvested therefrom. Also provided is a method of preventing undesirable pollination in grain production.

Plant illumination apparatus
An object is to provide a plant illumination apparatus that can output light having a high degree of circular polarization in the target wavelength range. This object is achieved by having a reflective-type polarizing plate having an effective wavelength range, a light-emitting device, and a reflective plate configured to reflect light emitted from the light-emitting device and satisfying:
λ1>λ2,λ2>λ3, and w>30 nm
wherein λ1 is the center wavelength of the effective wavelength range of the reflective-type polarizing plate, λ2 is the center wavelength of the light-emitting device, w is the full width at half maximum of the transmittance of the reflective-type polarizing plate, and λ3 is the shorter wavelength of the wavelengths at the full width at half maximum.

LIGHTING FOR ROOT GROWTH
A biological lighting system to provide temporally- and spatially-modulated photon flux output and spectral power distributions to plants on a circadian and circannual basis, or circadian and life cycle basis, to maximize effective and efficient growth in a horticultural setting. The photon flux or irradiance output and the spectral power distribution are modulated to match circadian and circannual rhythms, with individual or multiple luminaires controlled through one or more controllers. Different lighting spectra can be employed depending on the direction of illumination. The photon flux or irradiance output and the spectral power distribution may be set as best suited for any particular plant species, and the system is also useful for raising animals.
FARM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Described herein is a farm management system and related apparatus and operations including providing environmental monitoring and control systems, tracking seed sources, managing cultivation, growth, and harvest, improving enclosure operations, and managing system data. Example farm management systems may include a physical growing unit, a capacity control circuit structured to interpret a growing capacity description, and a growth support circuit structured to determine a planting instruction value in response to the growing capacity description. The physical growing unit may be responsive to the planting instruction value to initiate a growing support operation.
METHOD AND COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR ASSISTING USER IN PLANT CARE
The disclosure relates to a computer-executable method for assisting a user in plant care, including the following steps. A plant added by the user is received. A care task of the plant is determined at least according to a type of the plant, a planting location of the plant, and a current time. The user is prompted of the care task of the plant.
