Skate blade flatness gage
A system for quickly determining if a hockey skate blade is bent is disclosed. The system is a quick and effective way to determine if a Hockey Skate Blade is bent which will affect the ability for the blade to be sharpened and skating performance. The disclosed system is a simple way to quickly ensure skating performance and blade sharpness are optimized.
Self-Standing Skateboard System
A self-standing skateboard system includes a skateboard and a panel. The skateboard includes first and second trucks attached to a deck. The panel includes a front face, a back face, and a perimeter edge extending around and between the front face and the back face, the perimeter edge having a first end opposite a second end and a pair of opposed sides coupled to and extending between the first and second ends, with the panel having a slot extending into the first end defining a pair of spaced projections, and the slot being configured for receiving one of the first and second trucks for supporting the skateboard on the panel. Further, the panel has a notch extending into the second end defining a pair of feet for supporting the panel in an upright position on a supporting surface.
SKATE WITH TENDON GUARD
A skate boot having a tendon guard partially delimiting an opening of the skate boot. The tendon guard includes a lower member, a connecting member extending upwardly from the lower member, an upper member extending upwardly from the connecting member and an intermediate part. The upper member is abuttable against a rear bottom portion of a leg of the user. The upper member is resiliently displaceable relative to the lower member in a forward and a rearward direction. The intermediate part interconnects the upper and lower members and may encase the connecting member. The intermediate part is made of a material having one or both of a greater flexibility and a lower hardness than that of the lower member, the connecting member and the upper member. A method of manufacturing a skate is also discussed.

Attachment means for connecting a goalie pad to a skate
An attachment means for connecting a goalie pad to a skate. Has a string which has elastic characteristics and which is retained substantially at its mid-point by a pad attachment member and which has its two distal ends capped with a hook means and a loop means. The string is wrapped first under and then over the skate (or vice versa) so that the hook and loop means can mate and thus securely retain the lower part of the pad onto the skate.

INLINE SKATE SLING CONVERTIBLE SHOE BACKPACK
A carrier is provided for converting from an inline skate sling to a shoe backpack and vice versa. As carrier for skates; the inline skate sling includes a square shaped pouch with one rounded corner at the end of each side of the elongated central sling. When not in use as a sling carrier for skates, the framed compartments for skates are readily converted by user from inline skate sling to shoe backpack turning the pouches into storage units for shoes. There are three buttons positioned on each side of the sling allowing the sling to flip and retract over shoulders into shoe backpack. The shoe backpack is a carrier of shoes and small items used while skating and may be readily converted by a user from the shoe backpack to the inline skate sling used for the particular mode of walking with sling for carrier of skates.
Hockey skate shield
A skate shield for use with ice skates. The skate shield includes a rigid shell made at least of outer and inner layers of fiber reinforced plastic or polymer (FRP), and a fastener assembly for releasably securing the shell to a boot portion of the ice skate. The shell includes a medial side portion interconnected to a lateral side section via a top portion. A reinforced section formed by reinforcing layers laminated between the outer and inner layers is provided in at least one of the medial side portion and the lateral side portion of the shell.
