MOUNTING PLATE AND MOUNTING PLATE SYSTEM FOR A SKI BINDING
A mounting plate and mounting plate system for a ski comprising: a bottom surface configured to be placed against a ski; an upward directed left and right side edge along the outer sides of the mounting plate, where the edges have laterally opposed undercuts that are configured to hold a ski binding with complementary cuts fastened to the mounting plate in the vertical direction; a longitudinal groove, configured to hold a first interchangeable rail fixed in the lateral direction and the longitudinal direction, and a second interchangeable rail which can be interchanged with the first rail, fixed in a lateral direction but movable in the longitudinal direction.
Digitally controlled variable stiffness ski, snowboard, and boots system
A system, method and apparatus for a digitally Controlled Variable Stiffness item of athletic equipment, such as a Ski, Snowboard, and Boots. A core of thermally responsive metal alloy, such as Nitinol is disposed within the athletic equipment. A thermal control module and controller permit the athlete to program the athletic equipment to a desired stiffness parameter. The controller may include an app operable via a mobile computing device in communication with the thermal control module.

MOUNTING PLATE WITH RAIL FOR A BINDING
The present invention relates to a mounting system for a binding, or a binding component (2; 4) on a cross-country ski, where a mounting plate (6) is arranged on the top surface of the ski and where the mounting plate (6) comprises longitudinal side edges having a profile (33) with undercuts for longitudinal positioning and attachment of the binding or binding component (2; 4) with the aid of a complementary profile (34) on the binding or binding component (2; 4). According to the invention, the mounting plate (6) comprises a longitudinal channel (21) that houses a longitudinal rail (5), where the upper side of the rail (5) comprises at least one locking device (20; 23), and where the underside of the binding or binding component (2; 4) comprises at least one complementary locking device.
Movement assistance device
A movement assistance device comprising a first element for rigidly connecting the device to one foot of a user and transmitting a thrust force to said foot; and a second element linked to the first element by link means and intended to be in contact with the ground; the device further comprises means for transmitting a force from an exogenous energy source, to the first element and/or to the second element, in order to separate them from each other.
Ski binding rescue device
A ski binding rescue device having an attachment mechanism for attaching the device to a pair of skis to form a sled. The device attaches to the bindings of a pair of skis and serves to maintain the skis in a parallel orientation. The device has an attachment mechanism for attaching to the toe portion of a ski binding and to the heel portion of a ski binding. The device has one or more rigid lengths that span between the ski binding attachments to serve to connect and maintain the skis in a parallel orientation and potentially to provide an area to place a person to be moved on the sled or other goods.
Universal shoe harness for Nordic ski
A ski shoe harness includes a sole, a receiver, and a heel strap. The sole includes a binding mechanism adapted to engage a binding system of a ski. The sole and the receiver are attached and define a space to receive the front portion of a shoe. The heel strap, attached to the receiver, wraps around the rear portion of the shoe, interlocking the ski shoe harness with the shoe. Further, the heel strap includes an adjustment mechanism. Using the ski shoe harness of the present invention, non-ski shoes and boots of a various designs and sizes may be used to share and utilize skis having common cross-country binding systems.
SKI OR SNOWSHOE BINDING
The proposed solution relates to a ski or snowshoe binding, to which binding a normal boot is attachable with general attachments which are part of said binding, such as with a strap in a front part of the binding and with a strap arrangement in a back part of the binding. The strap of the front part of the binding is transverse to the binding, adjustable in length and extends in a toe part of the binding under the body or inside the body of the binding. The cross-sectional profiles of the strap of the front part have been made in such a way that as the strap comes out from the body and turns upwards, a first profile portion is, over this distance, in a direction of width at its narrowest substantially in the entire upward turn, after which a second profile portion is widening and thinning towards a third profile portion.
Touring binding heel unit
An apparatus for holding a footwear heel to a snow travel aid is provided. The apparatus comprises a mountable base connected to a generally vertical post and an upper portion having at least one forward connector for connecting the upper portion to the heel. The upper portion is rotatable on the post between a downhill position and at least one touring position and comprises at least one part which travels over a prominence at a fixed location relative to the upper portion during rotation from the downhill position to the touring position. The at least one part becomes engageable with a depression adjacent the prominence when the upper portion is in the touring position to resist rotation from the touring position back to the downhill position. The post comprises a feature that provides clearance for the at least one part to travel over the prominence or which functions as the prominence and depression. Also provided are posts for use as a part in such an apparatus.
Kart with movable visual effect
A ridable kart having a front portion rotatably coupled to a rear portion. The front portion includes an inner surface that is adjacent to an outer cover portion and the two surfaces move relative to one another. The outer cover portion includes window portions or openings through which a portion of the inner surface is visible. The inner surface includes a visual feature that is visible through the window portions and the visual features moves relative to the window portions when the front portion rotates relative to the rear portion.
