METHOD FOR PROVIDING COMPONENTS MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR A SNOWBOARD BINDING
A method for providing at least one component of a snowboard binding, comprising the steps consisting in: using a material of the SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) type, constituted by discontinuous fibers of carbon or glass or hybrid, arranged randomly and interposed between two layers of polymeric resin; arranging the material in a mold for a step of pressure molding by means of metallic mold parts; performing the pressure molding step at a temperature and a pressure that are higher than the ambient values, with a low or high flow of material to fill the cavity of the mold; extracting the component from the mold.
INTERCHANGEABLE DRIVE PLATES FOR SNOWBOARD BINDINGS
A snowboard binding includes a baseplate configured to secure to an upper surface of a snowboard a high back and straps secure to the baseplate. A drive plate is secured to the upper surface of the baseplate and has a stiffness effective to change ride properties of the snowboard. The drive plate may include a laminate structure including one or more composite layers such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, aluminum, or titanium. A carriage may mount the drive plate to the snowboard and may define a recess for receiving the drive plate. Tabs may extend from the lower surface of the carriage and engage corresponding apertures in the baseplate. The tabs may have hooked end portions to secure the carriage to the baseplate.

Binding system for recreational board
A binding system is mounted atop a rider-support surface of the board. The binding system comprises: a pair of rails locatable on opposing sides of a generally flattened foot-receiving surface for the rider's foot, each rail comprising a central portion mountable to the recreational board, a toe-side leg which extends from the central portion toward a toe-side of the recreational board and a heel-side leg which extends from the central portion toward a heel-side of the recreational board. Each rail is moveably coupled to a corresponding stand-off flange of a base.
Multi-function block and snow sliding apparatus comprising same
Disclosed is a multi-function block for a snow sliding apparatus for enabling sliding on a surface of snow. The multi-function block is provided between a deck, constituting part of the snow sliding apparatus, and a bottom surface of a binding or boot, and spaces the binding or boot apart from the deck. A plurality of first fastening holes is formed in the multi-function block. At least any one of the deck, the binding and the boot is fastened to the plurality of first fastening holes. The first fastening holes are formed through at least any one of outside surfaces of the multi-function block. The multi-function block is formed in a three-dimensional shape having at least one pair of parallel outside surfaces.
Snow sliding apparatus
A snow sliding apparatus for enabling sliding along a surface of snow, including: a plate-shaped deck configured to extend in a direction; and an auxiliary sliding part configured such that at least part thereof protrudes from both sides of the deck to have a width broader than and equal to that of edges of the deck, and configure to extend in a lengthwise direction of the deck, thereby protecting the edges of the deck during riding or assisting riding of the deck.
Device for retaining a shoe on a gliding board
The invention relates to a device for retaining the shoe on a gliding board comprising a lower base (E) designed to be secured to the board and receiving the shoe, and at least one upper fastener (1) ensuring closing of the device while being secured to the base on the one hand, and locked on a central tab (2) bearing on said shoe on the other hand, in the locked position, characterized in that said central tab comprises an inner part (21) and an outer part (22) that are superimposed, said inner part including at least one protruding element (23) becoming engaged through a corresponding orifice (20) arranged in the outer part (22), this protruding element forming a loop (30) for said fastener.
SNOW RIDING IMPLEMENT SIDEWALL
A snow riding implement includes a top face, a bottom face, a tail portion, a tip portion, and a midportion. A core of a first material extends from the tail portion to the tip portion. A sidewall extends between the top face and the bottom face and is formed from a second material different than the first material. The sidewall has a first side portion, a second portion and a third portion. The first side portion extends along the midportion at a first angle oblique to the bottom face, wherein the first side undercuts core. The second side portion extends along the tail portion at a second angle, different than the first angle, relative to the bottom face. The third side portion extends along the tip portion at a third angle different than the first angle relative to the bottom face.
