A plant stake and display tag holder for use with a nursery container such as a pot or free-standing planter. The display tag is attached to the container and is accessible and visible to the consumer without obstruction from the container or plant contained therein. The bottom of the plant stake inserts into a slit in the rim portion of a nursery container and locks into place to hold the plant stake upright and securely in place. The display tag is held above the soil line and avoids the common problems associated with display tag holders inserted below the soil line.

Unmanned vehicles may be utilized to capture crop images, and a learning engine may be used to determine the size of greenhouse crops. Such sensor data may be used to predict crop availability. A predication engine may be utilized to predict demand for greenhouse crops using current and historical orders for greenhouse crops. Greenhouse crop production instructions may be generated and transmitted to a greenhouse computer system to cause crops to be sown or harvested. Pallet loading instructions may be generated regarding the loading of specified quantities of crop packs on respective pallets for shipment to a destination.

An irrigation apparatus for dispersing liquid through a plant growing medium is disclosed. The apparatus includes a geometrically shaped container of variable size. The container has an outer wall with an inner surface, an open top, and a base portion configured to cover the plant growing medium. The base portion is configured with a plurality of holes for receiving liquid therethrough. The plurality of holes are configured as raised half-circles to block light and receive air, water, and nutrients. The container is configured with at least one center opening therethrough having an inner wall for receiving a plant. The center opening has at least one longitudinal opening extending therefrom to outer wall to allow placement of container on plant or to allow removal of container from plant. The container is configured with a plurality of geometrically shaped stakes of variable size extending therefrom the base portion for providing stability for apparatus to be secured in plant growing medium.

INDOOR GARDEN CENTER WITH A MOISTURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An indoor gardening appliance includes a liner defining a grow chamber and a grow module rotatably mounted within the grow chamber for receiving a plurality of plant pods. A moisture management system includes an evaporator plenum in fluid communication with the grow chamber and a fan assembly that recirculates air from the respective grow chambers and/or the ambient environment through an evaporator positioned within the evaporator plenum. In this manner, chamber humidity may be regulated while water is extracted from the air which may be used by a hydration system to hydrate plants.

PLANT INCUBATION APPARATUSES AND RELATED METHODS

Plant incubation apparatuses are provided. In some embodiments, the plant incubation apparatus may comprise a housing defining an upper chamber and a lower chamber; a partition positioned between the upper and lower chambers; and a plant-retaining opening extending through the partition that receives and supports a plant therein such that roots of the plant are positioned in the lower chamber and a remainder of the plant is positioned in the upper chamber. In some embodiments, the plant incubation apparatus may comprise at least one sensing device collecting data indicative of at least one of a plant property and an environmental parameter within the apparatus. A recirculation duct is in fluid communication with the grow chamber and a fan assembly circulates a flow of air through the recirculation duct and the grow chamber. A gas sensing assembly includes a gas sensor positioned within the recirculation duct for detecting the concentration of a gas within the flow of air and a flow stabilization device at least partially surrounding the gas sensor for reducing pressure fluctuations in the flow of air and improving gas sensor accuracy.
