A fastening assembly for a ski crampon includes a hinge pin having a mounting portion and a securing portion. The mounting portion has a smaller dimension in a first direction and a larger dimension in a second direction, the first and second directions orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the hinge pin. The securing portion has substantially the same dimension in the first and second directions. A mounting fastening portion defines a gap and an opening. The gap and the opening each extends substantially transversely to a ski longitudinal direction and substantially parallel to the ski surface. The gap receives the mounting portion of the hinge pin, which is inserted through the opening. The dimension of the opening in the ski longitudinal direction is larger than the dimension of the mounting portion in the first direction and smaller than the dimension of the mounting portion in the second direction.

A ski seat assembly is provided that includes a support structure, a seat coupled to the support structure, and an adjustable binding insert mechanism coupled to the support structure. The adjustable binding insert mechanism including a toe piece, a heel piece, and an adjustable connector connecting the toe piece to the heel piece, wherein the adjustable connector is adjustable to adjust a length of the adjustable binding insert mechanism to fit into a binding on a ski.

A downhill snow ski sound system comprises a speaker coupled to a binding of a snowboard or ski. An orifice is located at a perimeter of the binding and a strap is coupled to and extends from the orifice. The speaker is releasably coupled to the binding by the strap. The speaker is positioned adjacent the binding with less than an inch between the speaker and the binding. The speaker is also positioned directly on and contacting the ski-board.

A nose clip and a tail clip for a splitboard ski assembly may each comprise at least three hooks. The nose clip and the tail clip may be adaptable to various splitboard ski designs. A stretcher for a skin assembly may be configured to interface with the tail clip. The tail clip may comprise at least two elongated apertures defining a rail. The stretcher may be configured to interface with the rail via friction and/or secure a skin assembly to a splitboard ski assembly.

A child wearing the training and safety device is controlled by a trainer or a parent through a connected leash. The device includes an adjustable waist strap extending horizontally around the waist of a child, an adjustable back leg strap extending horizontally around a thigh of the back leg of the child, and a releasable and adjustable longitudinally positioned connecting strap attached to the waist strap and the back leg strap. A leash is attached to a clip fastener disposed on the connecting strap and is held by the trainer to selectively control movement, speed, and/or spacing between the child on a snowboard and the trainer trailing behind.
