Portable energy-saving and environment-friendly electric vehicle
11654345 · 2023-05-23 ·

A portable energy-saving and environment-friendly electric vehicle is light in weight, small in volume, convenient in electricity charging, and can be disassembled for portability in a backpack. The backpack is further furnished with a crank-handle generator to enable manpower electricity generation and working out simultaneously. This energy-saving and environment-friendly electric vehicle is mainly comprised of two adjustable skateboards and a support rod for adjusting speed and connecting a battery set. The battery set can be conveniently replaced roadside or at other locations. In a situation of power loss, manpower can be used to charge the battery set. Thus, the situation of power loss fully disabling the electric vehicle can be met. In addition, the battery set associated with the generator is reliable for charging mobile phones and computers.

An apparatus comprising a platform; a plurality of trucks coupled to the platform; and a roller assembly coupled to the platform, wherein the roller assembly is configured for an omnidirectional rotation, wherein the roller assembly is configured for an elastic biasing, wherein the roller assembly is driven by a motor.

CASTER BOARDS WITH REMOVABLE INSERT
20230134906 · 2023-05-04 ·

A caster board can include a front platform, a rear platform, and at least two neck sections extending between the front platform and the rear platform. The neck sections can serve as a torsion element allowing twisting of the front platform relative to the rear platform. An aperture between the neck sections can be configured to receive an insert. The insert can alter a structural characteristic of the caster board, such as the torsional stiffness of the caster board.

DECK FOR RIDE-ON DEVICES
20170361203 · 2017-12-21 ·

Ride-on devices are disclosed. The ride-on device may include a deck having a top surface and a bottom surface and at least two wheels attached to the bottom surface of the deck. The deck includes a bulk flexible material having a first stiffness and at least two resilient members extending in a fore-aft direction and having a second stiffness that is greater than the first stiffness. The bulk flexible material may be a polymer, such as a thermoplastic, and the resilient members may be formed of a fiber composite, such as a fiberglass or carbon composite. The resilient members may be formed integral with the base or may be attached in a separate process. One resilient member may extend along an outer edge on a port side of the deck and another resilient member may extend along an outer edge on a starboard side of the deck.

In-line skate braking device
09844720 · 2017-12-19 · ·

A braking device is provided for an in-line skate where the braking device selectively alters the motion of the in-line skate depending upon the angulation of the in-line skate relative to a surface. As a user angulates or tilts the in-line skate, the braking device increasingly engages the surface to provide a braking force to alter the motion of the in-line skate.

OBJECT DETECTION AND WARNING TRAINING BOARD

A recreational and/or sports type transport (board) having an object detection and proximity warning system. The board uses sensors and calculates the distance from object, and then warns the user of the proximity of same through tactile and/or audio feedback.

Steerable wheel assembly incorporating lean-to-steer mechanism with linear or non-linear steering response
11679320 · 2023-06-20 · ·

The present steerable wheel assembly incorporates a lean-to-steer mechanism into an inner race of a roller bearing, while a wheel is mounted to an outer race of the roller bearing. A shaft extending from the mechanism is attached to a body, and the mechanism acts to steer the outer race and the wheel about a vertical steering axis when the shaft is tilted about a horizontal axis. The mechanism can be a pivot joint, providing a linear steering response, or can be a lean-to-steer mechanism that provides a non-linear response where the steering action is not proportionally responsive to tilting over the expected range of tilting.

Foot-deck-based vehicle with increased potential energy for ollie-type manoeuvers
09833687 · 2017-12-05 · ·

In an aspect, a foot-deck based vehicle is provided, comprising a foot-deck, a front wheel arrangement, a rear wheel arrangement and a biasing member. The foot-deck has a front end and a rear end. The front wheel arrangement is proximate the front end. The rear wheel arrangement is proximate the rear end. The foot-deck has a first foot-deck portion and a second foot-deck portion that is rearward of the first foot-deck portion and that is movable relative to the first foot-deck portion. The second foot-deck portion extends rearward of the rear wheel arrangement. The biasing member biases the second foot-deck portion towards a home position relative to the first foot-deck portion. The second foot-deck portion is moveable from the home position downward to a biased position so as to store potential energy in the biasing member such that the biasing member urges the first foot-deck portion upward.
