SPORT FLOOR SYSTEM WITH VARIABLE FORCE REDUCTION ZONES
20240352748 · 2024-10-24 · ·

A sport flooring system designed and installed to reduce fatigue on a user. The sport flooring system includes a floor surface layer that is supported above a substrate layer and is designed for use in playing or practicing an athletic event or game. The floor surface layer is supported by a plurality of a first type of shock absorbing pads and a plurality of a second type of shock absorbing pads where the second type of shock absorbing are less hard and provide greater cushioning compared to the first type of shock absorbing pads. The first and second shock absorbing pads are organized to define at least one first zone and at least one second zone. The second zone provides greater cushioning to the user compared to the first zone to reduce fatigue to the user when playing or practicing on the sport flooring system.

NON-PERMANENT WHITEWATER WATER COURSE
20180185760 · 2018-07-05 ·

The invention relates to a white-water river, comprising a river bed capable of guiding a current of water between an upper inlet of the bed and a lower outlet of the bed, and including water-feeding means for injecting a stream of water at the upper inlet of the bed. The river bed is made up of a series of individual bed modules, adjacent to one another, and assembled via respective transverse contact surfaces. The individual bed modules are supported via a lower surface by a modular lattice bearing structure.

METHOD OF PLAYING A GAME OF FOOTBALL
20180185725 · 2018-07-05 ·

The invention provides for a new method of playing American football. In particular, the method enables the play of football with far fewer, if any, collisions that lead to injury. The system herein provides rules for a fast paced version of American football in which the clock is infrequently stopped and intentional collisions would not happen.

MODULAR SKATE COMPONENT AND SYSTEMS THEREOF

Described herein is a modular skate system that includes at least one modular skate component comprising a major surface, a core comprising a body formed from a first material, an outer layer formed from a second material, the outer layer surrounding at least a portion of the core, wherein the first material is different from the second material, and wherein the major surface comprises the outer layer.

COMPOSITIONS, SYSTEMS, AND NEURAL NETWORKS FOR BIDIRECTIONAL ENERGY TRANSFER, AND THERMALLY ENHANCED SOLAR ABSORBERS

The present invention provides a bidirectional energy-transfer system comprising: a thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete, disposed in a structural object; a location of energy supply or demand that is physically isolated from, but in thermodynamic and/or electromagnetic communication with, the thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete; and a means of transferring energy between the structural object and the location of energy supply or demand. The system can be a single node in a neural network. The thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete includes a conductive, shock-absorbing material, such as graphite. Preferred compositions are disclosed for the thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete. The bidirectional energy-transfer system may be present in a solar-energy collection system, a grade beam, an indoor radiant flooring system, a structural wall or ceiling, a bridge, a roadway, a driveway, a parking lot, a commercial aviation runway, a military runway, a grain silo, or pavers, for example.

REFLEX TRAINING DEVICE

APPARATUS FOR GLIDING OVER A BODY OF FLOWING WATER
20180140959 · 2018-05-24 ·

The present invention relates to an apparatus for gliding over a body of flowing water, in particular for surfing, waterskiing, kiteboarding and/or wakeboarding, having a first buoyancy body. The apparatus is characterized by a second buoyancy body, which can be connected to the first buoyancy body by means of a cable, and by a pulley mechanism, which has the cable running through it and can be connected to a first stationary object, and therefore the first buoyancy body and the second buoyancy body, by means of the pulley mechanism with the cable running through it, can execute movements in substantially opposing directions on the body of flowing water.

DIGITAL DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD

A clock device is in communication with a remote computing device that is configured to adjust the time of a countdown and define an adjusted time value. The remote device communicates the adjusted time to the clock device, which automatically displays the adjusted time on a screen. The adjusted time is further communicated to a cloud server via API. The adjusted time is accessible by authorized third parties for display or broadcast. Accordingly, a user may adjust and track a countdown and may define an official time that is automatically displayed to a variety of end-users in real-time. The clock device may be positioned adjacent a competition area and may include a rigid metal frame and a flexible LED screen extending around the perimeter of the frame. The clock device may include hardware and software for processing and outputting the adjusted time to the cloud server.
