SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PLAYING A GAME
An arrangement, a computer system, and/or a method for playing a game include a playing area, a first set of scoring structures arranged at a perimeter of the playing area and that are active throughout the game, and a second set of scoring structures arranged at the perimeter of the playing area and that are active only during penalty periods of the game, where each pair of adjacent ones of structures of the first set is separated by one of the structures of the second set.
COMPOSITIONS, SYSTEMS, AND NEURAL NETWORKS FOR BIDIRECTIONAL ENERGY TRANSFER, AND THERMALLY ENHANCED SOLAR ABSORBERS
The present invention provides a bidirectional energy-transfer system comprising: a thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete, disposed in a structural object; a location of energy supply or demand that is physically isolated from, but in thermodynamic and/or electromagnetic communication with, the thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete; and a means of transferring energy between the structural object and the location of energy supply or demand. The system can be a single node in a neural network. The thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete includes a conductive, shock-absorbing material, such as graphite. Preferred compositions are disclosed for the thermally and/or electrically conductive concrete. The bidirectional energy-transfer system may be present in a solar-energy collection system, a grade beam, an indoor radiant flooring system, a structural wall or ceiling, a bridge, a roadway, a driveway, a parking lot, a commercial aviation runway, a military runway, a grain silo, or pavers, for example.
OPEN FIELD GAME ARRANGEMENT INCLUDING GLOWING AND RESPONSIVE TARGETS
An open field game arrangement includes glowing targets and provides responses, such as lights and sounds, when the targets are hit.
FIGHTING SPORTS RING EQUIPMENT
Provided is ring equipment made on the basis of an idea going beyond conventional knowledge, which is capable, not only of enhancing the mood of spectators and further creating feeling of high tension and interest of a match, but of making it possible for players to effectively use the ring equipment for the handling of the match, or the like, thereby making the match richer in content. A rope strung between corner posts includes a rope body having translucency and a light emitting member buried in the rope body. The ring equipment is configured so that light from the light emitting member is passed through the rope body and emitted outward in the radial direction of the rope body.
MARTIAL ARTS CAGE COMPRISING MEANS FOR IMAGE CAPTURING AND PROCESSING; PROCESS FOR OBTAINING TRIDIMENSIONAL IMAGES AND/OR DATA FOR ENTERTAINMENT, TRAINING, EDUCATING AND/OR FOR SCORING MARTIAL ARTS
A martial arts fighting ring or MMA cage having one or more arrangements of digital cameras connected to a microprocessor which generates digital image files and processes these files to obtain data, statistics, and three-dimensional images in flow motion or in motion. The cage is provided with means to perform statistical analyses of movements such as punches, dodges, and other techniques inside the cage, being particularly useful for training and/or development of striking blows or statistically probable counter-strikes. The reproduction of three-dimensional images, as well as statistical data on their movements, is also particularly useful for better understanding of the sport by non-athletes or spectators, and can be a useful tool for training and for assisting with evaluation and/or practice of sporting activities.
Ultraviolet Court-Illumination System
An ultraviolet court-illumination system is used to light a playing court and any related equipment in a fluorescent manner. The system includes at least one playing court, a first plurality of ultraviolet (UV) court lights, a plurality of fluorescent game boundary-markers, and at least one fluorescent game fixture. The playing court is used for playing games or sports. The plurality of fluorescent game boundary-markers is superimposed onto the playing court and is used to delineate the boundaries of the playing court. The fluorescent game fixture is mounted onto the playing court and may be a net, a goal, or any other fixture used to play the sport. Each of the first plurality of UV court lights is peripherally positioned about the playing court and is used to illuminate the fluorescent game boundary-markers and the fluorescent game fixture. The first plurality of UV court lights is powered by a power source.

EXERCISING PACING DEVICE AND METHODS OF OPERATION
An exercise pacing device includes multiple lights that are configured to be placed at regular intervals along a running track. The lights are controlled by a controller to turn on and off along the continuous loop of the elongated structure. The lights are turned on and off at a speed sufficient to simulate a moving indicator for pacing a user around the running track.
Play set for launching an action figurine
A toy ring is disclosed herein. The toy ring having: a platform; a plurality of posts positioned about the platform, the plurality of posts including at least one launching post configured for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein movement from the first position to the second position is in a first direction away from the platform; an elastic member secured to each one of the plurality of posts, wherein the biasing member provides a biasing force to the launching post in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the launching post is in the second position.
Game of horseshoes
A substantially planar playing field for a horseshoe game. A plurality of horseshoe courses are arranged on the playing field. Each of the horseshoe courses comprises an elongated planar portion having opposed ends and a horseshoe pit on at least one of the opposed ends of the elongated planar portion. A plurality of the horseshoe courses on the playing field have a horseshoe pit on each of the opposed ends of the elongated planar portion of the horse shoe course. Each of the pits has a stake rising above the pit. At least one, and preferably a plurality of the courses have included in the horseshoe course a challenge for the player. The courses are arranged on the playing field to enable the players to traverse a predetermined game path to play each course in sequence to complete the game.
