Portable bowling system and method of use
The present invention relates to a portable bowling system and method of use thereof. The portable bowling system may have a frame from which bowling pins are suspended above a playing surface. The playing surface may be an uneven playing surface. A ball catcher may also be configured on the playing surface whereby the frame is configured between the ball catcher and a player. A player may insert their thumb into a thumb hole of a bowling ball and two of their fingers into finger holes of the bowling ball. The player may roll the bowling ball towards the frame whereby the bowling ball contacts one or more of the bowling pins. The bowling pins may fall to the playing surface. The bowling ball may pass beyond the frame and be stopped within the ball catcher.
ILLUMINATED PIN GAME PLATFORM
A game platform and process of setting up and scoring individual game pins on the game platform is provided. The platform and process has utility to mitigate the negative impact of recurring manual setup of individual game pins on a game surface prior to beginning or continuing play such as the misalignment of individual game pins potentially creating an unfair advantage or disadvantage to those playing the game. The platform and process also has utility to increase the efficiency and uniformity of game setup and game play. The platform affords automatic identification of a misaligned game pin and notifies a player of the need to realign the game pin. The platform has further utility to automatically score the game and generate additional game information in real-time.
Ball striking apparatus
A ball striking apparatus comprises a ball strike member arranged on a free end of a resiliently flexible arm(s). The free end of the arm(s) can be drawn back manually and subsequently released to drive the bail strike member through a primary impact zone so that the ball strike member can strike a ball in the primary impact zone. The resiliently flexible arm is mounted at one end to a support structure with the opposite, free end adjacent the primary impact zone. The support structure is fastened to an edge of a table that defines a playing surface. A bail support arrangement is configured to support the ball in the primary impact zone such that the ball can be struck by the ball strike member and driven away from the primary impact zone.
