GAME OF CHANCE ALLOWING USER PARTICIPATION IN OUTCOME SELECTION
A game of chance is disclosed allowing an outcome determined by the actions of a player. The game of chance comprises a layout defining a plurality of cells. A first portion of the cells each have a winning indicia contained therein, and a remaining portion of the cells each have a non-winning indicia contained therein. The winning and non-winning indicia are initially concealed to a player and are selectively revealable by the player. The player may select a limited number of cells to reveal the indicia contained therein. An object of the game is to maximize a number of winning indicia revealed by the player.
ROULETTE APPARATUS AND METHOD TO ENSURE UNAMBIGUOUS WHEEL POSITIONS
The present inventions concerns method and a roulette apparatus (1) comprising at least one mechanical roulette wheel (2) with a number of pockets (3) to receive a ball (4) and a roulette-display-system (10) with at least one graphical electronic display (11) surrounding the roulette wheel (2), wherein the electronic display (11) comprising a number of display fields (12) to display single betting numbers (N) and wherein a sensor unit (20), a drive unit (30) and a control system (40) are provided and wherein the control system (40) is adapted to receive status information from the sensor unit (20) about the roulette wheel (2) and/or the ball (4) rested in one of the pockets (3) and the control system (40) may cause the roulette wheel (2) based on the received status information to be adjusted in a unambiguous final position in relation to the display (11), wherein the pocket (3) with the ball (4) lies completely in congruence with the directly adjacent respective display field (11).
Optical system for a roulette wheel
In a first aspect, there is described an optical system for monitoring a ball play volume of a roulette wheel. The optical system comprises an electronic image detector and a reflector arranged to reflect light from a ball play volume of a roulette wheel onto the electronic image detector. The electronic image detector is configured to form an image of the ball play volume from the reflected light. In a second aspect, there is described a method of monitoring a ball play volume of a roulette wheel. The method comprises the steps of using a reflector to reflect light from the ball play volume, and forming an image of the ball play volume from the reflected light. In a third aspect, there is described a method of manufacturing an optical system for monitoring a ball play volume of a roulette wheel. The method comprises the steps of providing an electronic image detector, and providing a reflector arranged to reflect light from a ball play volume of a roulette wheel onto the electronic image detector.

Roulette rim tilt detection
A tilt detection system including a roulette wheel, at least one inclination sensor positioned on or within a rim of the roulette wheel, and a display module comprising a plurality of light outputs. The tilt detection system can obtain positional data during operation of the roulette wheel and determine tilt data indicative of the roulette wheel's position relative to a baseline indicative of a leveled state. A roulette wheel tilt status, e.g., level, warning, and error, may be determined based on the tilt data, and a display module can activate the plurality of light outputs based on the tilt status. Two or more stepper motors may lever the roulette wheel in response to the tilt status.
