A swing comprising an adult seat and a child seat, said two seats connected together via a common frame and arranged such that the two seats face each other. The common frame comprises a rigid frame, said rigid frame having a first portion, a middle portion and a second portion, said middle portion being arranged between the first and second portions. The swing is arranged to be suspended from the first portion. The adult seat is attached to the second portion. The child seat is attached to the middle portion. In this way a simple construction is provided which is safe and easy to use for both adults and children.

The present invention provides a swing that is operable to promote attunement between a child and caretaker. The swing comprises two seats, one of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a caretaker, such as a parent, and another of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a child. The two seats are arranged so that the caretaker and the child can face one another and comfortably see each other's eyes. The two seats are also configured such that, during operation of the swing, both the caretaker and child share the experience of swinging. Thus, using the swing of at least one embodiment of the present invention, a caretaker and child may share the mutual enjoyment of the swinging action while maintaining eye contact with one another, resulting in attunement.

A modular play set including a support beam for supporting one or more play equipments therealong, two or more support assemblies each supporting an end of the support beam above a support surface, the support assemblies each including one or more upright poles having a lower end for engagement with the support surface and an upper end remote from the lower end, a lateral support structure engaging the upper end of each pole, the lateral support structure having a support beam connection for connecting to one end of one or more of the support beams and extending by a predetermined distance transverse to the or at least one of the support beams connected thereto. A play equipment may be a swing having a pivot assembly mounted to the frame for pivoting about a substantially horizontal fixed axis; a swivel assembly operatively associated with the pivot assembly for pivoting about a swivel axis substantially orthogonal to the said fixed axis to pivot about the fixed axis; and a frame mounted to said swivel assembly for supporting a user, the frame having a platform spaced from the fixed axis a distance sufficient for a user to stand on the platform through which the swivel axis passes and a hanger portion operatively interposed between the platform and the swivel assembly and spaced from the swivel axis.

A swing system may include a bucket-style swing seat, with a front support portion and a back support portion. A grip may be provided at the top edge of the outer face of the swing. The back support portion of the swing may have a height greater than the front support portion, and this high molded backing may also be provided with a top edge that curves outwardly. The high-molded backing may provide additional comfort for a child in the swing, as well as a grip for the caregiver pushing the swing.

A swing system may include a bucket-style swing seat, with a front support portion and a back support portion. A grip may be provided at the top edge of the outer face of the swing. The back support portion of the swing may have a height greater than the front support portion, and this high molded backing may also be provided with a top edge that curves outwardly. The high-molded backing may provide additional comfort for a child in the swing, as well as a grip for the caregiver pushing the swing.

An amusement ride having at least one vehicle, which comprises one or more passenger compartments for accommodating passengers, and a pool, wherein the amusement ride is designed in such a way that at least one pendulum movement of the vehicle is possible, wherein the amusement ride is configured in such a way that the pool can be at least partially filled with a liquid and the vehicle comes into contact with the liquid of the pool in the course of the pendulum movement.

The system may be a process and a device that allows for safety in swinging on a swing at a park, playground or swing set. The process may include fixing a chain, hook/connector and an anchor into a single chain assembly. The chain assembly may be dipped or submerged in a polymer coating and allowed to dry, forming a continuous coating over the chain assembly. The chain assembly may be secured to a swing seat using brackets to engage the anchor portion of the chain assembly. The polymer coating may partially or entirely coat the chain assembly while still allowing manipulation and deformation of the chain assembly. The polymer coating may provide easier gripping and safer swinging.

An accessory structure trampoline has a main trampoline with a main trampoline bed, main trampoline springs, and a main trampoline spring cover. The main trampoline includes trampoline legs having a first vertical leg section and a second vertical leg section. An accessory structure is pivotally mounted to the first vertical leg section and the second vertical leg section. The accessory structure folds from a deployed position to a stowed position. The accessory structure can be a small trampoline that is smaller than the main trampoline. The small trampoline folds from a deployed position to a stowed position. The small trampoline has a fold-down handlebar and folding legs, and the fold-down handlebar folds from a deployed position to a stowed position. The accessory structure can also be a hammock swing. The hammock swing folds from a deployed position to a stowed position.

The present invention is an adjustable lounge garden swing having a fixed support structure and a seat support pivotally suspended from the support structure on a single pivot axis to provide a pendular movement when in motion. At least one lounge seat is pivotally coupled to the support structure where the lounge seat has a seating portion and a backrest portion that are fixed relative to one another but adjustable relative to the seat support to adjust the reclination angle of lounge seat. In particular, an embodiment of the present invention provides a lounge seat for a garden swing that has an adjustable reclination angle relative to the seat support and is positionable at a selected reclination angle through a reclination adjustor.
