The harness system may include a harness body configured to releasably couple with the ride vehicle, a waist engagement portion of the harness body, the waist engagement portion including a waist securement mechanism configured to contract or expand a functional length of the waist engagement portion to adjust for engagement with a waist of a guest, a vest portion of the harness body, wherein the vest portion includes a height adjuster configured to extend or retract such that shoulder bands extend or retract relative to the waist engagement portion, and a leg engagement portion comprising a first leg flap configured to adjustably secure about a first leg of the guest and a second leg flap configured to adjustable secure about a second leg of the guest.
Gap blocking systems and methods for amusement park attractions
A gap blocking system includes a loading platform having a gap separating a first portion of the loading platform from a second portion of the loading platform. A ride vehicle is coupled to a transport extending through the gap. The gap blocking system also includes a panel assembly coupled to the loading platform and comprising a plurality of panels, wherein each panel of the plurality of panels is coupled to a respective biasing mechanism coupled to the first portion of the loading platform and configured to bias each panel towards a closed configuration in which each panel extends radially away from the first portion of the loading platform.

Portable water spraying device
A portable water spraying device includes a water conduit and a strut member. The water conduit defines an inflatable volume for receiving water. The water conduit includes a water inlet valve and a plurality of spray heads. The water inlet valve and the plurality of spray heads connect to the inflatable volume. The strut member is located adjacent to the water conduit and extends along an extension of the water conduit. The strut member is capable of keeping the water conduit stable when the water is pressured into the inflatable volume from the water inlet and is sprayed out form the plurality of spray heads.
Arrangement, device and method for generating a standing wave in still water or swimming facilities
A floating wave generating device for generating a standing wave in a standing water body or water basin includes at least one water acceleration section, at least one wave generation section arranged downstream of the water acceleration section, and at least one pump. The at least one pump is arranged in such a way that with this pump water from the underwater area of the standing water body or water basin can be conveyed to a starting level which is higher than the water level of the standing water body or water basin, in order to generate a water flow directed toward the wave generation section by utilizing gravity. Furthermore, the apparatus is arranged in relation to the standing water body or water basin such that the standing water body or water basin with its water level is part of the wave generation section.
Boat motion simulator
A boat motion simulator or system configured specially to impart boat-type motions (e.g., roll, sway, heave, pitch, surge, and yaw) to a passenger boat. The simulator or system is also configured to use buoyancy or buoyant forces to vertically support the boat such that the system's components imparting the boat motions do not provide vertical support of the boat, which, instead, floats naturally in a volume of water provided within the simulator or system while or concurrently with motions being imparted upon the boat by a drive or motion assembly. The simulator or system may also include a display and sound system operable with this drive or motion assembly to display imagery and a soundtrack that are synchronized with the motions imparted upon the boat by the drive or motion assembly to provide a unique and realistic boat simulator or boat ride experience for passengers in the boat.
Secondary bar securing device
A secondary bar securing device (3) of a safety bar (4) of an amusement ride has a primary securing device that keeps the safety bar (4) in an angular position adapted to the anatomy of the passenger during travel of the amusement ride, and first and second blocking elements (21, 22) arranged at a distance (25) to each other. In the event of a malfunction of the primary securing device, the safety bar (4) can be moved in a tolerance opening angle, which correlates to the distance (25) between the blocking elements (21, 22). If the tolerance opening angle is exceeded, one of the blocking elements (21, 22) block the safety bar (4).

Modular amusement park systems and methods
A system in accordance with present embodiments includes an amusement park system having one or more hardware components and a controller. The controller includes a memory device having a game layer and a software layer stored thereon. The game layer includes game logic, and the software layer includes a game API communicatively coupled to the game layer, a wrapper API communicatively coupled to the game API, and multiple wrappers communicatively coupled to the wrapper API. The controller further includes a processor configured to execute instructions to cause the processor to receive a signal indicative of a change in the hardware components, and, based on the signal indicative of the change in the hardware components, communicate with the hardware components via a wrapper to receive an input from the hardware components, or drive operation of the hardware components.
Gameplay system with play augmented by merchandise
A gameplay system for providing interactivity based on a piece of merchandise or another object held or worn by a player. The system includes an object identification assembly, which may be a modified computer vision system, that operates to sense, for a gameplay participant, the presence and identity of a particular augmenting object such as themed merchandise worn or held by a rider of a theme park ride. The sensing may be performed by detecting an on-and-off pattern of light emitted from the object. In response, the gameplay system selects or modifies the interactive features of gameplay associated with the participant based on the identified augmenting object. For example, the interactive features are selected from memory by the gameplay system controller to match a character associated with the augmenting object during any interactive gameplay. This allows the gameplay participant to choose their abilities or powers for gameplay.
