Method of growing grapevines
A method for growing grapevines in a root inhibiting vessel permanently planted in previously existing solid waste landfill mounds is disclosed. The vessel or container is a porous polymeric bag or fabric sleeve liner closely received in the container. A fabric disc is positioned in the bottom of an excavated hole in the cover layer of a landfill. The fabric liner is needle-punched to create a rough surface capable of trapping the roots of the growing grapevine and direct the roots into the side of the container such that the apical dominance of the root is stopped to restrict growth and promote root branching on the inside of the container to create a fibrous root system within the container.
Device for thinning out a fruit tree
The device for removing flowers from a fruit tree by pulling off from their branch is formed by a rod, a gripping and a puller. The gripper can be a handle. The puller is mounted at the end of the handle for pulling off flowers. The puller can be formed of at least one roller provided with fibers in the form of bristles, each roller being mounted articulated, freely rotating at the end of the rod, so that the transverse displacement of the rod into contact with the branch induces a rotation of each roller.

SUPPORTING CLAMP APPARATUS AND PROCESS
This invention relates to a clamp for holding a pair of spaced objects together and especially to a clamp for supporting a tree trunk or plant to an upright stake or post. The clamp body has a pair of hinged arms having two end portions with each end portion having a clamping jaw for attaching over a pair of spaced objects to be supported to each other, such as a tree trunk to a supporting stake, when said hinged arms are closed. The hinged arms having a snap lock connector for attaching the arms together when said hinged arms are closed so that an object supporting clamp can be attached over a pair of spaced objects for supporting one object to the other object.
AUTONOMOUS MOBILE PLATFORM AND VARIABLE RATE IRRIGATION METHOD FOR PREVENTING FROST DAMAGE
A rover includes a base having wheels and a propulsion system coupled to the wheels to propel the rover around a field. A tower is coupled to the base and extends over the base. Sensors are set on the tower and the base and are configured to sense environmental conditions around the rover at different elevations. A computing system includes a processor and memory. The memory is configured to receive measured data from the sensors and determine an amount and manner of water to be dispensed on plant life in the field.

MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR LARGE SCALE PLANT GRAFTING
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to materials and methods for plant grafting. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provides materials and methods for efficient large scale grafting of potato rootstock with scion from the Solanaceae family. Certain embodiments involve grafting methods that significantly increase the yield of grafted plants produced. Given the commercial, nutritional, and horticultural advantages of grafted plants, embodiments of the present disclosure address the need for the development of improved methods for producing grafted plants and grafted plant products.
CLOUD-BASED CULTIVATION SYSTEM FOR PLANTS
A system for managing cultivation of plants includes a database storing information about a plurality of growing beds and a multiplicity of farming agents. Each agent is associated with one growing bed and runs a cultivation program on inputs from a farmer of said associated growing bed and information about said associated growing bed from said database. Each agent enforces user preferences and business rules for said associated growing bed and provides cultivation instructions to said farmer to cultivate its associated growing bed.
Plant Limb Root Germination Method and Apparatus
Exemplary embodiments provide an apparatus and method of use for more easily and reliably stimulating root growth on the limbs of plants or trees. The apparatus securely locks in place around a limb of a tree, and a root growth medium is placed inside the apparatus around a limb of a plant or tree. A watering tube and viewing port are also provided. After a period of time, roots grow inside the root growth medium, the apparatus is removed, the limb is severed from the plant or tree, and the limb and newly-formed root ball are planted.
Managing stages of growth of a crop with micro-precision via an agricultural treatment delivery system
Various embodiments relate generally to computer vision and automation to autonomously identify and deliver for application a treatment to an object among other objects, data science and data analysis, including machine learning, deep learning, and other disciplines of computer-based artificial intelligence to facilitate identification and treatment of objects, and robotics and mobility technologies to navigate a delivery system, more specifically, to an agricultural delivery system configured to identify and apply, for example, an agricultural treatment to an identified agricultural object. In some examples, a method may include identifying an agricultural object being associated with a subset of agricultural objects, identifying an action corresponding to a subset of agricultural objects responsive, selecting an emitter with which to perform an action associated with the agricultural object, configuring an agricultural projectile delivery system to activate an emitter to propel an agricultural projectile to intercept an agricultural object.
