Travel pillow with tray, charger and audio features
A travel pillow has an integral head portion that can be positioned behind the head of the traveler during use. The travel pillow incorporates a charging station in one of the forwardly extending arms and a stress reliever in the opposing arm. A Bluetooth™ audio system is included to pair with selected electronic devices to enhance the entertainment of the traveler. The pillow also includes a central opening, corresponding for positioning the traveler's neck, which receives a removable snack bowl and lid, held in place within the central opening by a releasable closure device on the opposing arms of the travel pillow. The lid can be formed to receive an electronic device, such as a cell phone or a digital device generating sound received by the audio system. The head portion can be formed as an animal head with the stress reliever being the tail of the animal.
Dialogue method, dialogue system, dialogue apparatus and program
The present invention improves a sense of participation in a topic and enables a dialogue to continue for a long time. A dialogue system 12 includes at least an input part 1 that receives a user's utterance and a presentation part 5 that presents an utterance. In an utterance receiving step, the input part 1 receives an utterance performed by the user. In a first presentation step, the presentation part 5 presents an utterance determined based on scenarios stored in advance. In a second presentation step, the presentation part 5 presents the utterance determined based on the user's utterance contents. A dialogue control part 8 performs control to execute a dialogue at least including a first dialogue flow which is a dialogue including the utterance receiving step and the first presentation step at least one time respectively based on a predetermined scenario, and a second dialogue flow which is a dialogue including the utterance receiving step and the second presentation step at least one time respectively.
Comforting device
A comforting device for soothing and comforting a user includes a shell, which defines an interior space. The shell is pliable and can be grasped by the user. A filler, which is resiliently compressible, is positioned in and substantially occupies the interior space. An audio module, which is positioned in the interior space, selectively emits a first sound, which mimics a heartbeat, and a second sound, which mimics a respiratory sound, such as breath sounds and snoring. The audio module broadcasts the first sound and the second sound to comfort the user.
Robot
A robot includes a body contactable with a placement surface, a head, at least one actuator, and at least one processor. The head is contactable with the placement surface, and is coupled to a front end of the body so as to be rotatable about a first rotational axis extending in a front-rear direction of the body and rotatable about a second rotational axis extending in a width direction of the body. The at least one actuator turns the head by causing the head to make a turn about the first rotational axis and a turn about the second rotational axis independently of each other. The at least one processor repeats a first turn control scheme and a second turn control scheme in sequence.
Toy system
An interactive toy system is shown and described. The toy system can include a container forming a receptacle and having a top opening and a carriage. The carriage is disposed in the receptacle and rotatable about an axis between a first position and a second position. The carriage has a first receiving space and a second receiving space. The first receiving space is accessible through the top opening when the carriage is in the first position and inaccessible when the carriage is in the second position. The second receiving space is accessible through the top opening when the carriage is in the second position and inaccessible when the carriage is in the first position. The toy system can include a fog system configured to generate fog within the container. The fog obfuscating the first receiving space.

Device and method for instilling intrinsic motivation regarding eye contact in children affected by eye contact disorders
This describes a treatment method for autism/ASD intended to induce greater intrinsic motivation to make eye contact in affected children. The treatment method incorporates an artificial demonstration of the phenomenon of eye contact, and that method is described herein along with the principles of action of the treatment and the necessary procedure to perform it. Also described are two embodiments of a therapy tool that can be used to effect the demonstration: first, an item in the form of a cuboid with animatronic eyes affixed to one side, and second, another in the form of a stuffed dog.
SELF-PROPELLED NOVELTY TOY
A self-propelled toy, includes a “drive and control” module and a housing in the shape of a dinosaur, animal or human sliding sports player. An axle with wheels is attached to the drive and control module in the housing. A pull-back mechanism includes a motor drive/driven gear that drivingly connects to the axle drive/driven gear, wherein upon pulling back the toy body with the wheels touching the ground, the pull-back mechanism generates and stores mechanical potential energy. Upon release of the toy body, kinetic energy drives the toy in a direction opposite that of the pull-back direction. A controller is connected to the pull-back mechanism and is electrically connected to at least one light emitting diode (LED) in the toy body. When the toy is released to allow the toy to move forward, the LED is powered to generate a light signal and optionally a sound transducer generates a sound.
Assembly with object in housing and mechanism to open housing
In an aspect, a toy assembly is provided and includes a housing and an inner object inside the housing. The inner object includes a breakout mechanism that includes a hammer and an actuation lever. The hammer is movable between a retracted position in which the hammer is spaced from the housing and an advanced position in which the hammer is positioned to break the housing. The actuation lever is pivotable from a hammer retraction position towards a hammer driving position so as to drive the hammer towards the advanced position.
Three Dimensional Puzzle Assembly
A three dimensional puzzle assembly includes a three dimensional puzzle comprising a plurality of puzzle pieces. Each of the puzzle pieces has a series of channels and fingers each being integrated into the puzzle pieces. The channels in each of the puzzle pieces insertably receive a finger on a respective one of the puzzle pieces such that the puzzle pieces fit together. Additionally, the three dimensional puzzle has the ornamental appearance of a three dimensional object when the three dimensional puzzle is assembled. Each of the plurality of puzzle pieces has dimensions sufficiently large for being incapable of being swallowed by a child. A toy is positionable within the three dimensional object defined by the three dimensional puzzle when the three dimensional puzzle is assembled. The toy is exposed when the user successfully disassembles the plurality of puzzle pieces.
