Method to use a colored photoluminescent composition in agricultural applications

The inventive subject matter provides a method for the incorporation of colored photoluminescent materials to be sprayed on to plants and soils. The incorporation of colored photoluminescent materials assists the spray operator through the use of black lights allowing for more precise low right or nighttime spray and seeding operations. More specifically, this invention relates to a colored photoluminescent adjuvant to be applied to targeted crops, plants and seeds to assist in the low light or nighttime application of bioactive agents, such as chemicals and pesticides. The colored photoluminescent adjuvant can be applied as a solution or a foam.

System and method for instantaneously determining uniform distribution of water, salinity, conductivity, temperature and other conditions in soil

A system and method for objective and real-time measurable indicator for calculating distribution uniformity of water, salinity, conductivity, or temperature in turf are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system and method may be directed to collecting turf condition data using a compact, portable turf analysis device having one or more sensors and Global Positioning System (GPS) module configured to collect location data to a server database. The server assimilates the turf condition data and location data into the server database to determine distribution uniformity of measurements and to calculate turf performance indicators of the turf conditions in a plurality of locations to determine turf performance, turf stress, and turf management best practices. By tracking and analyzing the turf condition data for one or more turf locations as well as location data, the turf quality is objectively measured and managed.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER

The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention

Relocatable turf

A turf surface (80) comprising: (a) a reinforcing root-permeable mat (10); (b) a removable root-permeable backing (60) located beneath the reinforcing root-permeable mat (10); (c) a layer of growth media (42) located on the reinforcing root-permeable mat (10); and (d) natural grass plants (30) having roots (32) extending downwardly through the layer of growth media (42) and the reinforcing root-permeable mat (10) and the removable root-permeable backing (60); wherein, in use, prior to being laid at a destination site, the removable root-permeable backing (60) is separated from the reinforcing root-permeable mat (10), so that any roots (34) which engage with and extend through the removable root-permeable backing (60) are substantially removed from the turf surface (80).
