An apparatus for applying a desired amount of mechanical abrasion to plants and selective cutting of undesirable plant material. The apparatus includes a base, a brush and an elevation device for maintaining the base at desirable height. The base has a first longitudinal axis and a plurality of grooves, the grooves being oriented approximately perpendicular to the first longitudinal axis. The brush has a second longitudinal axis and a plurality of bristles and/or blades extending outwardly from the second longitudinal axis. The brush is attached to the apparatus such that the second longitudinal axis is substantially parallel to the first longitudinal axis and the brush is rotatable about the second longitudinal axis. The brush is spaced from the base such that the plurality of bristles engage the plurality of grooves. The base is adjustable enabling the operator to move the base closer or further from the rotating brush/blades.

A grass sports ground is produced by mixing man-made vitreous fibres into soil having relatively high loam levels at a rate in the range 0.5 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts soil (dry weight), preferably in the presence of moisture to separate the fibres and distribute them among soil particles, and then growing grass. The soil/fibre mixture has desirable moisture management properties as well as good mechanical characteristics providing extended use characteristics even in cold, wet or hot and dry conditions.

Method to use a colored photoluminescent composition in agricultural applications

The inventive subject matter provides a method for the incorporation of colored photoluminescent materials to be sprayed on to plants and soils. The incorporation of colored photoluminescent materials assists the spray operator through the use of black lights allowing for more precise low light or nighttime spray and seeding operations. More specifically, this invention relates to a colored photoluminescent adjuvant to be applied to targeted crops, plants and seeds to assist in the low light or nighttime application of bioactive agents, such as chemicals and pesticides. The colored photoluminescent adjuvant can be applied as a solution or a foam.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER

The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention.

Gardening Tool

Method of over-seeding using American ryegrass, a new turfgrass

A method of over-seeding dormant warm season grasses, including over-seeding the warm season grass with Turf Type Festulolium (American Ryegrass) such that the American Ryegrass will provide a green cover during the winter months but will die out when the temperatures increase to the point which allow the warm-season grass to regrow. A method maintain green coverage of turf year-round including planting a warm season grass, and over-seeding the warm season grass with American Ryegrass. The method where the American Ryegrass is selected from the group consisting of breeder's codes: APMT001, APMT002, APMT003, APMT004, APMT005, APMT006, APMT007, APMT008, APMT009, APMT010, and APMT011.
