Virtual puppeteering using a portable device
A virtual puppeteering system includes a portable device including a camera, a display, a hardware processor, and a system memory storing an object animation software code. The hardware processor is configured to execute the object animation software code to, using the camera, generate an image in response to receiving an activation input, using the display, display the image, and receive a selection input selecting an object shown in the image. The hardware processor is further configured to execute the object animation software code to determine a distance separating the selected object from the portable device, receive an animation input, identify, based on the selected object and the received animation input, a movement for animating the selected object, generate an animation of the selected object using the determined distance and the identified movement, and render the animation of the selected object.
Identification carrier for a toy for reproducing music or an audio story
An identification carrier for a toy for replaying music or a spoken story, includes a standing surface, a magnet and an identification, wherein the identification changes a property of an external magnetic field when it enters the magnetic field, and the magnet is arranged closer than the identification to the standing surface and/or at least one surface normal to the standing surface passes only through the magnet or only through the identification.
Information processor, information processing method, and program
An information processor including: an operation control unit that controls a motion of an autonomous mobile body acting on the basis of recognition processing, in a case where a target sound that is a target voice for voice recognition processing is detected, the operation control unit moving the autonomous mobile body to a position, around an approach target, where an input level of a non-target sound that is not the target voice becomes lower, the approach target being determined on the basis of the target sound.
ILLUMINATING ANIMATION DEVICE
A device that creates animation via the illumination of various LEDs through a film into which an image is cut. The film includes an image cut therein. The device includes a housing with a housing compartment formed by the film connected to a base via a wall. Secured within the housing compartment is a divider, which divides the compartment into a first and second chamber. A printed circuit board is secured within the compartment and includes a first and second LED, wherein the first LED is secured within the first chamber and the second LED is secured within the second chamber. A microcontroller unit controls the illumination of the first and second LEDs in conjunction with sound either from a microphone or a speaker to animate the image cut into the film.
Modular robot system
A modular robot system can be formed by assembling a plurality of cube type unit robots. The modular robot system includes N cube type unit robots, wherein: one of the N cube type unit robots serves as a central control terminal, the cube type unit robot serving as the central control terminal assigns a distinguishable ID number to each of the N cube type unit robots; each robot including a cube-shaped housing, a step motor and a control unit installed inside the housing; the housing has one surface including a mounting groove to allow a rotational body rotating by a rotation shaft of the step motor to be mounted therein, and the other surface including a connection groove in the same shape as the mounting groove; and different cube type unit robots can be connected to each other by means of a connection body mounted in the connection groove.
TOY FIGURINE WITH A BUTTON SYSTEM
A toy figurine comprising a multi-part housing. The toy figurine includes a circuit board provided in the multi-part housing. The circuit board is in electrical communication with part electrical switch for activating a functionality of the circuit board. The toy figurine includes art elongate pin provided in an interior of the multi-part housing and a push button provided on an exterior of the multi-part housing and adjacent to the elongate pin. Upon actuation of the push button by a user, the push button drives the elongate pin to contact the electrical switch.
Weighted lap pad
A weighted lap pad comprising a base having a body-conforming configuration adapted to be placed across a lap of a seated user, the base having a plurality of channels having weights permanently enclosed within respective channels, the weights having a cumulative weight of greater than 2 pounds and a transparent window positioned at a surface of the base and in part defining a device pocket configured to receive a paper device or electronic touch screen device. The transparent window and associated pocket allowing a user to experience visual and multi-media sensation while simultaneously receiving tactile sensation of the weighted pad. The electronic device also allows for a variety of user control and sensory feedback options.
RELAY TOY FOR RECALLING LIFE COURSE
The present disclosure discloses a relay toy for recalling a life course comprising a smart device and a mission-accomplishing relay toy. The smart device is wirelessly connected to the mission-accomplishing relay toy via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The mission-accomplishing relay toy comprises a magnetic guiding bar, a ferromagnetic ball, one or more transverse channels, and a plurality of physical levels, and the smart device comprises a plurality of virtual levels corresponding to the plurality of physical levels.
Method for Guiding a User in Creating a Craft, and Crafting System
A method for and system for guiding a user in creating a craft. At least a portion of a selected crafting challenge is displayed on a portion of a display surface which is visible through a crafting surface. A composite guide element is shown on the display surface visible next to the display surface part which is visible through the specific crafting surface and a further composite guide element is also provided at a receptacle corresponding to the displayed composite guide element. It is ensured that the composite guide element and the further composite guide element provide at least two mutually independent instruction components.
ROBOT CONTROL METHOD AND INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD
A method for a first server, which controls a robot, includes: acquiring, from a second server, request information that indicates a request for an action of the robot after the second server determines that it is required to encourage the user to exercise; if it is confirmed that the second server has an access right to make the robot perform the request, making a decision for one of an action group including at least two of execution, suspension, or rejection of the request; and after the decision to execute the request is made, transmitting, to the robot, instruction information that causes the robot to take an action for encouraging the user to exercise.
