Baton stand
The baton stand is a training device that is configured for use with a baton that is used in the relay race events of a track and field competition. The baton stand is a container within which a baton can be placed or removed as a runner passes by the baton stand. The baton stand is adjustable such that the baton stand will simulate the angle and height the baton should be in during the acceptance or hand off of the baton. To use the baton stand, a runner runs past the baton stand and, depending on the objective of the training exercise, will place the baton into or remove the baton from the baton stand. The baton stand comprises a telescopic stanchion, a stand, a basket, and a locking hinge. The stand attaches to the telescopic stanchion. The locking hinge attaches the basket to the telescopic stanchion.
Greyhound racing lure arrangement
Disclosure in this specification is of a greyhound lure support carrier engageable with a support track is located about a greyhound racing track. The support carrier is engageable and disengageable from the track in one example, the carrier housing supports multiple wheels some of which are in constant contact with the track to drive the carrier housing along the track and other wheels are free-wheeling guides along the track and to ensure the carrier housing stays on the track. The support carrier comprises a chassis accommodating, a battery to supply electric power; an electric motor having an axle, the electric motor operatively connected to the battery, and to drive the rotation of an axle; a rotatable friction arrangement connected to a driven axle and located so as to frictionally engage with the support track. There is a suspension arrangement moveable against a portion of the support track to permit suspension of the chassis from the support track. There is also a wireless communication receiver for receiving a signal for operating application of electric power to the electric motor. An electric motor control module is in operative connection to the wireless communication receiver and operable to the electric motor. A lure arrangement is attachable to the carrier for attracting greyhounds as the carrier is controlled in its travel about the track.

Safety warning device
A safety warning device includes an integrally formed telescopic warning body which is a flexible bellows-shaped tube having a bottom end, a top end, and a bellows section connecting the top end and the bottom end. As a result, the telescopic warning body can be compressed and elongated by an external force, thereby minimizing the volume and facilitating the moving of the safety warning device, as well as achieving the goal of extending the usage life and having better safety.

SYSTEM FOR MEASURING AND CORRECTING THE FINISH TIME OF AN ATHLETE IN A RACE
The measuring system makes it possible to correct a finish time for an athlete in a running race. The system comprises a personalised transponder module placed on an upper part of the athlete's body and a base station. The transponder module comprises a signal receiver unit, a data, measurement or command processing unit, and a data and/or measurement and/or command signal transmission unit, and a motion sensor for providing measurement signals to the processing unit. The motion sensor may be a gyroscope connected to the processing unit in the transponder unit and configured to determine an angle of inclination of the athlete's body with respect to a vertical or horizontal direction upon crossing the finish line for correction of the race finish time.

SENSOR NETWORK FOR TRICK CLASSIFICATION
Systems and techniques for a sensor network for trick classification are described herein. A first data stream may be received from a first sensor array affixed to a first free-moving body of a sporting device. A second data stream may be received from a second sensor array affixed to a second free-moving body of the sporting device. A trick region of a predetermined length of the first data stream corresponding with an occurrence of a trick may be determined using data from the first data stream. The trick may be classified using a first set of data from the first data stream corresponding with the trick region and a second set of data from the second data stream. The second set of data may be obtained by aligning the trick region of the first data stream with the second data stream
PORTABLE RACE DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING REAL-TIME RACE INFORMATION
The invention comprises systems and devices for calculating and displaying real-time race information to a racer during a race. A portable race device may be worn by a racer. During the race, while within range of a race gate transmission, the race device receives gate crossing times for other race participants, and may calculate and display the current positions and times for a selected race group, and the pace needed for the racer to win, and also may display the projected finish positions and times for a selected race group, and the pace needed for the racer to win.
