Slug catcher skid
Disclosed is a slug catcher skid that is comprised of an integral inlet separator sized for a single compressor flow and each slug catcher skid is only used with a single compressor. The flow through the integral inlet separator is determined by the flow rate through the single compressor to which it is attached. Additionally, the other piping on an individual slug catcher skid such as the common gas inlet pipe headers, the common liquid drain pipe headers, and the common gas discharge pipe headers are sized for the flow of multiple compressors in a single facility. Some embodiments of the slug catcher skid are further comprised of an inlet filter separator, a Positive Shut Off (PSO) system, and/or an equalizing system in various combinations. The slug skids of the claimed invention may be further comprised of post compressor functional equipment including but not limited to a discharge gas oil separation vessel and a glycol separation vessel.

AQUEOUS TWO-PHASE SYSTEM NANOFILTER AND SEPARATION METHOD USING SAME
Proposed are an aqueous two-phase system nanofilter capable of effectively separating particles having different sizes within a short time, and a separation method using same. The aqueous two-phase system nanofilter can separate mixed nanoparticles having a size difference of approximately 10 nm, through the designing of a composition constituting each composition. The separated nanoparticles can be applied across industries such as electronics, photoelectronics and magnetic fields, biomedical, medical and cosmetic fields, energy, catalysts, and structures.
Furan-2,5-dicarboxylic acid purge process
Disclosed is an oxidation process to produce a crude carboxylic acid product carboxylic acid product. The process comprises oxidizing a feed stream comprising at least one oxidizable compound to generate a crude carboxylic acid slurry comprising furan-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (FDCA) and compositions thereof. Also disclosed is a process to produce a dry purified carboxylic acid product by utilizing various purification methods on the crude carboxylic acid.

SAND CLEANING AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for sand cleaning including: a cleaning unit arranged to receive oil impregnated sand; the unit including a chamber having an impeller, said impeller arranged to agitate the oil impregnated sand in a base of the unit; an aperture in the base of the unit arranged to discharge the treated sand; an oil outlet adjacent to a top of the unit arranged to discharge the separated oil.
Composite for oil-water separation, synthesis methods and applications of same
Certain aspects of the invention relate to a composite for oil-water separation, synthesis methods and applications of the same. The composite includes a nanostructured powder or porous material having surfaces with nanoscale features, formed from a pristine powder or porous material by a surface nanostructuring process, and single or multilayers of a low surface energy oligomer or polymer coated on the surfaces of the nanostructured powder or porous material. The composite is hydrophobic (or superhydrophobic) and oleophilic (or superoleophilic) operably repelling water and absorbing oil, or oleophobic (or superoleophobic) and hydrophilic (or superhydrophilic) operably repelling oil and absorbing water.
Diesel dehydrator
A fuel dehydrator, including a control panel, a fuel pump electrically connected to the control panel, the fuel pump including a first inlet fluidly connected to a fuel supply, and a first outlet, a fuel filter including a second inlet fluidly connected to the first outlet and a second outlet, a water separator, including a third inlet fluidly connected to the second outlet, a third outlet fluidly connected to a fuel return, and an automatic water drain valve fluidly connected to a water drain and electrically connected to the control panel.
Process for treating produced water from an oil and gas field
A process of treating a liquid containing oil and solids, includes an ultra- or micro-filtration step followed by a coalescing step of the concentrate obtained from the filtering step by uses of a coalescing contactor.
PURIFICATION OF OIL
A method and a system for purification of oil, said method comprising the steps of: —providing separation aid and oil to be purified to at least one sedimentation tank; —waiting for allowing a sludge phase to sediment to a bottom part of the sedimentation tank, said sludge phase comprising the separation aid together with impurities from the oil; —removing an oil phase not comprising said sludge phase from the at least one sedimentation tank; and —filtering said oil phase through a depth filter for removing any possible remaining separation aid and impurities.
