Interchangeable track systems
Interchangeable track systems for interchangeable deployment with vehicle wheels on a forestry harvester vehicle having a front axle and a rear axle may include a pair of front roller frame mount arms and a pair of rear roller frame mount arms configured for mounting on the front axle and the rear axle, respectively. A pair of front track assemblies and a pair of rear track assemblies may be configured for removable mounting on the pair of front roller frame mount arms and the pair of rear roller frame mount arms, respectively. Each of the pair of front track assemblies and the pair of rear track assemblies may include an elongated roller frame configured for pivotal attachment to the corresponding one of the pair of front roller frame mount arms and pair of rear roller frame mount arms. A front idler roller and a rear idler roller may be carried by the roller frame. A track may be trained on the front idler roller and the rear idler roller. A sprocket may be configured for driving engagement by a corresponding one of the front axle and the rear axle, with the sprocket drivingly engaging the track.
Method, arrangement and user interface for managing mobile forest machines and transport equipment therefor
A user interface for fleet management includes a first user interface zone and a second user interface zone, which are can be presented to the user simultaneously on the same first user interface. On the first user interface is presented, in response to a selection made by the user, simultaneously at least two parallel first selection elements, and from the selected at least one first selection element, at least one selectable first selection element related thereto and included in the next higher or lower hierarchical level. The second user interface zone is arranged to present information which is based on selections made by the user via the first user interface zone.
POSITIONING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GROWING TREES, CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS OR GEOLOGICAL FEATURES
A device may include a processor arranged for receiving a first area and a second area, finding a first set of objects in said first area, finding a matching second set of objects in said second area, and stitching together said first area with said second area by overlaying said first and second sets.
Wildfire defender
A system includes a processing device and memory device storing instructions that result in accessing a first dataset including aerial imagery data and infrared data, accessing a second dataset including property boundary data, and identifying property boundaries associated with a geographic area. A plurality of models is applied to the datasets to identify and compute information of interest. Based on the first dataset and constrained by the property boundaries, a building detection model can be applied to identify a building, and a vegetation detection model can be applied to identify one or more areas of vegetation. An estimated distance can be determined between each of the areas of vegetation and the building as separation data, which can be compared to a defensible space guideline to determine a defensible space adherence score. A wildfire risk map can be generated, including the defensible space adherence score associated with the geographic area.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL GRAPPLE-HEEL COMBINATION DEVICE FOR USE WITH A MANIPULATION MACHINE
A grapple-heel rack having a frame, a grapple, and first and second angle-enabler catches. A grapple attachment (which may be or may include a universal joint) may be used to support the grapple from a nose of the frame. A mechanical grapple return system may be used to return the grapple from anon-neutral position to a neutral position. At least one method for using the grapple-heel rack.
Forestry Winch with an Eject Roller
A forestry winch that has a rope drum driven by a drive motor and an ejector roller driven by an additional drive motor is disclosed. A rope is guided from the rope drum to the ejector roller and is guided over the ejector roller. The additional drive motor is located on the ejector roller and is connected to an energy supply device by means of energy supply lines. Provided on the ejector roller a protective device, which covers the energy supply lines located in the area of the additional drive motor and protects them from mechanical damage.
FUEL BREAK WITH INTEGRAL WATERING SYSTEM
A fuel break with integral watering system includes watering towers with associated pumps and water supplies that apply water to fuel break vegetation when needed, such as during a drought and/or when a fire is approaching. Water can be delivered by pipes from a remote water source, and/or collected as runoff water in reservoirs below the watering towers. Sensors can monitor water content of the reservoirs, and/or moisture content of surrounding soil, vegetation, and/or air. The towers can be remotely powered by wires, and/or by batteries recharged by solar panels. The watering system can be configured to apply water both to tall vegetation and to ground vegetation. Super-absorbent polymer added to the fuel break can absorb and retain rain water and water from the towers. Reforestation can include planting fire resistant trees in bunches, locating the towers near the bunches, and/or relocating power lines below grade.
BRUSH CUTTER ROTOR
A brush cutter rotor comprising cutting tooth assemblies sequentially arranged along a longitudinal axis of the brush cutter rotor, and azimuthally offset to make up intertwined spirals of cutting tooth assemblies. The cutting tooth assemblies of immediately adjacent tracks are arranged to provide for a longitudinal gap in-between, and separating blades are provided within said longitudinal gap on each side of each track comprising one of the cutting tooth assemblies. They form a comb to separate incoming material to a center of the corresponding one of the cutting teeth and away from side edges thereof. The front space before the central portion of cutting teeth is thereby free, exempt from a protective guard. A wear plate can be used in the holding base of the cutting tooth assemblies under each cutting tooth.
Wide base capsular planting systems and methods
Methods and systems are presented for making good use of recently obtained biometric data, for configuring propagule capsules (e.g. containing seeds or spores with growth media and other helpful materials) for deployment via drones so that each has an improved chance of survival, and for configuring drones or piloted craft for safe fleet deployment in remote locations.
