A system assists during execution of a sequence of cuttings in a tree, wherein, during a cutting sequence, a first cut in the tree is followed by a second cut in the tree At least a part of an ideal course of the second cut depends on at least a part of a course of the first cut. An identification device identifies at least the part of the course of the first cut in the tree. A precalculation device precalculates at least the part of the ideal course of the second cut in the tree based on the identified part of the course of the first cut. An output device outputs cutting information for executing the second cut based on the precalculated part of the ideal course of the second cut.

Method for Assisting During Felling of a Tree, and System for Assisting During Felling of a Tree
A system assists during felling of a tree. A provision device provides a property of the tree and/or a property of an environment of the tree, identifies at least part of a course of a cut in the tree for felling the tree and/or identifies a position and/or an orientation of a cutting apparatus executing the cut. A determination device obtains felling information related to an ideal felling direction of the tree, compares the identified part of the course to an obtained part of an ideal course of a cut to be executed in the tree for felling the tree in the ideal felling direction, compares the identified position and/or the identified orientation of the cutting apparatus to an obtained ideal position and/or an obtained ideal orientation of the cutting apparatus, and obtains cutting information based on the comparison. An output device outputs the obtained felling information and cutting information.

Controlling forestry machines across a jobsite
A machine output detection and control system includes machine metric logic that detects a plurality of quantity metrics, each quantity metric corresponding to sensor information associated with at least one mobile machine in a plurality of different mobile machines. The system also includes normalization logic that aggregates the plurality of different quantity metrics to generate, for each mobile machine, a normalized production unit that is normalized across the plurality of different mobile machines. Dependency logic correlates the normalized production unit, for each mobile machine, to a machine dependency that identifies an order in which the plurality of different mobile machines operate at a jobsite. Further, action signal logic generates an action signal, based on the correlation.
WILDFIRE DEFENDER
A system includes a processing device and memory device storing instructions that result in accessing a first dataset including aerial imagery data, accessing a second dataset including property boundary data, and identifying property boundaries associated with a geographic area. A plurality of artificial-intelligence (AI) models are applied to the datasets to identify and compute information of interest. Based on the first dataset and constrained by the property boundaries, a building detection model can be applied to identify a building footprint, and a tree detection model can be applied to identify one or more trees. An estimated distance can be determined between each of the trees and a nearest portion of the building footprint as separation data, which can be compared to a defensible space guideline to determine a defensible space adherence score. A wildfire risk map can be generated, including the defensible space adherence score associated with the geographic area.

MANAGING LANDBASES AND MACHINE OPERATIONS PERFORMED THEREON
A method for management of a land base includes interfacing a machine or equipment to a computer running a geographical information system (GIS) application such that the computer is configured to monitor the operations performed by the equipment or machine on the land base and store the operations as map points, lines, or polygons on at least one data layer within the GIS application. The method further includes displaying the GIS application to the operator at the point and time of performing the operations.
