FLOCCULATING, GRADING, AND DEWATERING DEVICE
A flocculating, grading, and dewatering device includes a tank body, a mixing zone, a flocculent settling zone, a centrifugal dewatering zone, and a particle screening zone. An initial material is mixed with a chemical agent for a flocculation reaction, a lower sediment material settles and an upper liquid overflows. In the centrifugal dewatering zone, a screen basket is allowed to rotate to facilitate a centrifugal movement of the sediment material, water in the sediment material moves into a guide cavity and then flows to a centrifugate outlet, and then a dewatered material in the screen basket is removed out of the screen basket. In the particle screening zone, a screening mechanism screens particles of different size grades in the dewatered material, and water generated flows downward and is discharged; liquids discharged from the centrifugate outlet and the overflow port are combined, and then discharged through a mixed liquid outlet.
Launder cover system
A launder cover system for reducing or eliminating sunlight exposure so as to prevent algae growth in a tank such as a clarifier tank. The launder cover system generally includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of launder covers which are each independently pivotably connected to a tank wall of a tank, such as by using a mount. The support members are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a pivot connector and the launder covers are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a hinge connector. Each support member is positioned between a pair of launder covers, and each launder cover is positioned between a pair of support members. The support members function to support the launder covers in a raised or lowered position. A launder support may be connected to the channel wall to support the launder covers in their lowered positions.

RETROFIT BOX SYSTEM FOR CLEANING INACCESSIBLE FLOORS
Retrofit box systems to maximize operational capacity of inaccessible floors are described. The retrofit box system includes a gate complex that provides fluid communication between an inaccessible floor and a box, and a box to deliver a cleaner to the inaccessible floor and adapted for equalizing pressure when the inaccessible floor is under water while minimizing waste seepage from the retrofit box system. The retrofit box system further includes a power system and a control system to deliver the cleaner to the inaccessible floor and remove waste from the inaccessible floor and the box.
Systems and methods for particle focusing in microchannels
Various systems, methods, and devices are provided for focusing particles suspended within a moving fluid into one or more localized stream lines. The system can include a substrate and at least one channel provided on the substrate having an inlet and an outlet. The system can further include a fluid moving along the channel in a laminar flow having suspended particles and a pumping element driving the laminar flow of the fluid. The fluid, the channel, and the pumping element can be configured to cause inertial forces to act on the particles and to focus the particles into one or more stream lines.
Method for recovering liquids from slurries
The method relates generally to a filtration and liquid displacement method for separating valuable or harmful liquids, herein termed Process Liquid, from mixtures or slurries that contain such liquids and solid particles. The method employs upflow filtration, operation of SAP Means and use of a Sweep Liquid that has a higher density than the Process Liquid.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR INJECTING GAS-INFUSED ADDITIVES
The present disclosure relates generally to systems, apparatuses, and processes for preparing a gas-infused additive that is useful within gas-floatation systems configured to separate solids and/or oils from a liquid within a suspension. The gas-infused additive can be injected into systems having a floatation consolidator to provide additional dissolved gas to the system. Advantageously, the processes and apparatuses disclosed herein are compatible with systems and processes having a single injection point for the addition of an additive or gas, without requiring substantial modification or reconfiguration of the system. The inventions described herein additionally teach that the gas-infused additive can be prepared and injected downstream of any pump present within the system, thereby protecting the pump from the damaging effects of cavitation corrosion and similar phenomena.
