FILTRATION DEVICE
20200206662 · 2020-07-02 · ·

A filtering device includes a filter tank, a first drum filter both ends of which are supported, and a cantilever second drum filter. A first end portion of the first drum filter is supported on a first sidewall of the filter tank. A second end portion of the first drum filter is supported on a second sidewall. An end portion of the second drum filter on the supported side is supported on the first sidewall. Between an end portion of the second drum filter on the non-supported side and the second sidewall, a communicating part is formed. A first jetting section jets a fluid against an outer circumferential surface of the first drum filter. A second jetting section is arranged in the vicinity of the second drum filter and jets the fluid against the second drum filter.

PIPELINE STRAINER

A pipeline strainer is provided having a cavity, a screen assembly disposed in the cavity, the screen assembly having an open first end and an open second end and a screen axis extending from the open first end to the open second end, a fluid inlet arranged at the open first end of the screen assembly, such that the fluid inlet is open to an interior of the screen assembly, a fluid outlet adjacent the open first end of the screen assembly. The fluid outlet is open to a straining surface of the screen assembly. A fluid axis extends from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet where the fluid axis crosses the screen axis at or near the fluid inlet.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN GAS
20200180956 · 2020-06-11 ·

Methods and systems are disclosed for using industrial waste for the production of hydrogen gas. The method includes examining a ph level of the industrial waste, removing contaminate from the industrial waste, conditioning and concentrating the industrial waste to a proton-rich solution, and using the resulting proton-rich solution as the proton source in a hydrogenase catalyzed hydrogen production system.

DIRT SEPARATOR FOR A VACUUM CLEANER

A dirt separator including a chamber having an inlet through which dirt-laden fluid enters the chamber and an outlet through which cleansed fluid exits the chamber, and a disc located at the outlet, the disc being arranged to rotate about a rotational axis and including holes through which the cleansed fluid passes. The holes are distributed over at least first and second regions of the disc, the second region being radially outward of the first region. The porosity of the second region is higher than the porosity of the first region.

DIRT SEPARATOR FOR A VACUUM CLEANER

A dirt separator for a vacuum cleaner including a chamber having an inlet through which dirt-laden fluid enters the chamber and an outlet through which cleansed fluid exits the chamber; and a disc located at the outlet, the disc being arranged to rotate in a predetermined direction about a rotational axis, and including holes running from an upstream face to a downstream face through which the cleansed fluid passes. When viewed along the radial direction of the disc, the path of each hole through the thickness of the disc defines a centreline, the centreline being inclined such that it is non-perpendicular to the disc. The centreline of each hole is inclined such that it intersects the upstream face of the disc at a point which is behind, in the direction of rotation of the disc, the point at which the centreline intersects the downstream face of the disc.

Vacuum box, belt filter, methods for servicing a vacuum belt filter, method for liquid-solid separation of a slurry, and filter element

A vacuum belt filter including a belt with a plurality of vacuum boxes, filter means being arranged to the vacuum boxes, drive means for moving the belt, and a suction station for creating an underpressure to the vacuum boxes at the suction station. In order to enable liquid-solid separation at low energy costs and long service interval of the vacuum belt filter, the filter means is in the form of a capillary filter, each vacuum box being provided with such a filter and each vacuum box being provided with an outlet having a check valve enabling a fluid flow from the inside space of the vacuum box to the outside of the vacuum box for creating an underpressure in the vacuum box when the suction station is connected to the vacuum box.

Cleaner

A cleaner includes: a main body that receives a suction motor; and a filter unit that is detachably coupled to the main body to filter air discharged from the suction motor and includes a ring-shaped filter and a filter frame that receives the ring-shaped filter, wherein the filter frame includes: an inner frame; an outer frame that defines a filter space for receiving the filter in cooperation with the inner frame; and a ring-shaped filter cover that connects the outer frame and the inner frame to each other and has one or more air openings.

PROCESSES FOR RECOVERING PRODUCTS FROM A CORN FERMENTATION MASH
20200140899 · 2020-05-07 · ·

Improved processes and systems for recovering products from a corn fermentation mash. In some examples, a process recovers an oil product, a protein meal product, and a fiber product from a slurry. A process includes the following steps: introducing the slurry into a device with a flexible screen and mechanical agitation to produce a filtrate and a fibrous solid stream; and introducing the filtrate into a three-phase centrifuge to produce an oil stream, a high protein solids stream, and a water with solubles stream. The flexible screen includes a washing nozzle. The slurry is whole stillage from an ethanol process. The three-phase centrifuge is a three-phase decanter. The filtrate is heated before introducing into the three-phase centrifuge. The filtrate is optionally evaporated before introducing into the three-phase centrifuge.

A SEPARATION PANEL

A separation panel includes a body member defining a separation surface and an opposed surface with a plurality of apertures extending through the body member and opening out into the separation surface and the opposed surface of the body member. The body member is made up of a plurality of discrete elements secured together to form substantially hexagonal apertures. A securing arrangement secures the discrete elements together.

FAT PROCESSING SYSTEM

Lipoaspirate can be treated for use in fat grafting procedures. For example, the lipoaspirate can be placed in a container having an inlet for receiving the lipoaspirate and an outlet for dispensing and removal of desired materials from the lipoaspirate. The inlet and the outlet can be located on a common side of first and second filter elements. An activation mechanism can be actuated to move the first filter element relative to the second filter element within the container to separate cellular components of the lipoaspirate from non-cellular components of the lipoaspirate.
