FAT PROCESSING SYSTEM

Lipoaspirate can be treated for use in fat grafting procedures. For example, the lipoaspirate can be placed in a container having an inlet for receiving the lipoaspirate and an outlet for dispensing and removal of desired materials from the lipoaspirate. The inlet and the outlet can be located on a common side of first and second filter elements. An activation mechanism can be actuated to move the first filter element relative to the second filter element within the container to separate cellular components of the lipoaspirate from non-cellular components of the lipoaspirate.

SEPARATION DEVICE FOR REMOVING OBJECTS FROM A WATER STREAM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A SEPARATION DEVICE
20190338505 · 2019-11-07 ·

The invention relates to a separation device for removing objects from a water flow, comprising a separation screen and a channel which forms an inlet and an outlet for the separation screen, wherein, during operation, a head water having a head water level can be provided in the inlet upstream of the separation screen and a tail water having a tail water level can be provided in the outlet downstream of the separation screen, wherein the outlet comprises an outlet cross-section for the water flow. The separation device is characterised by a damming body, which can be adjusted via an actuator, for immersion into the outlet, said damming body being able to be adjusted at least between a first position and a second position, wherein the outlet cross-section is smaller in the first position and the outlet cross-section is larger in the second position, and comprising a control device, wherein the control device includes a first operating mode, in which the flow rate in the area of the separation screen is increased by bringing the damming body from the first position to the second position, wherein the control device includes a second operating mode, in which the flow rate in the area of the separation screen is changed by bringing the damming body from the second position to a third position, wherein the outlet cross-section in the third position is smaller or larger than in the second position, and wherein the control device is configured to automatically activate the first and/or the second operating mode. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a separation device.

UNDERWATER STATION AND A METHOD

A method for charging and an underwater station that may include a platform and a first contactless charging element for charging a pool cleaning robot mounted on the platform; wherein when the underwater station is positioned in a pool the first contactless charging element is spaced apart from the bottom and sidewalls of the pool.

Centrifugal filtration apparatus including stereoscopic filter

Disclosed is a centrifugal filtration apparatus including a casing, a shaft, a stand tube, a rotor, and a stereoscopic filter. The shaft is vertically installed in the casing and guides a fluid to an upper end of the casing. The stand tube rotates about the shaft and sprays the fluid to the upper end of the casing. The rotor rotates along with the stand tube and forms a space in the casing to receive and filter the fluid sprayed from the stand tube. The stereoscopic filter includes a plate member and wire members. The plate member is rolled up around the stand tube and is installed in the rotor. The wire member is installed between layers of the plate member to secure a gap between the layers of the plate member and forms a filter layer to filter the fluid that flows between the layers of the plate member.

Oleophilic separation apparatus
10399008 · 2019-09-03 ·

An oleophilic separation apparatus has a rotatable metal cage and at least one oleophilic sieve in frictional engagement with the rotatable metal cage. The oleophilic sieve is made of an oleophilic material such that a bitumen phase adheres to the oleophilic sieve upon contact. A plurality of apertures in the oleophilic sieve allows aqueous phase to escape from the rotatable metal cage. A hot zone is provided that has at least one rotation member and a source of heat. The oleophilic sieve is in frictional engagement with the at least one rotation member. The hot zone heats the bitumen phase adhered to the oleophilic sieve to allow for collection of the bitumen phase.

Removing solids from a flowing fluid using a care-free pumped or gravity flow rotating drum screen with stationary stabilization assemblies

A pumped or gravity flow rotating drum screen removes unwanted solids from a flowing fluid. The drum screen may comprise: a housing having a fluid inlet end, a solid discharge end and an area between the two ends, the fluid inlet permitting a flow of influent containing unwanted solids into a hollow portion of a drum screen positioned lengthwise in the area between the two ends of the housing, the screen comprising a filter medium that retains at least a portion of the unwanted solids within the hollow portion of the drum screen and which produces a liquid effluent that is discharged from an outer surface of the drum screen, the retained solids being removable via the solid discharge end; a drive assembly configured to rotate the drum screen about an axis running the length of the drum screen; and one or more stabilization pad assemblies in contact with one or more rings circumscribing the outer surface of the drum screen at one or more locations.
