System and method for outputting filter monitoring system information via telematics
A filter monitoring system and method are described. The filter monitoring system includes a remote telematics system, and a data link between the remote telematics system and an onboard telematics system. The remote telematics system is configured to receive, via the data link, an indication of a pressure drop across a filter cartridge of the filtration system from the onboard telematics system, determine a first value indicative of a remaining filter life of the filter cartridge of the filtration system, determine a second value indicative of a remaining filter life of the filter cartridge that is determined in a different manner than the first value, compare the first value to the second value to determine which value indicates a least amount of life remaining for the filter cartridge, and transmit an indication of the least amount of life remaining for the filter cartridge based on the comparison.
FILTER CARTRIDGE PROVIDED WITH MEANS FOR DRAINING WATER AND A RELATIVE FILTER GROUP
A filter cartridge for filtering fuel comprising a filter wall having a tubular conformation, a first support plate fixed to an end of the filter wall and a second support plate fixed to the opposite end of the filter wall, a support core coaxially inserted internally of the filter wall and provided with radial openings for passage of the fuel, in which the support core exhibits, at an upper end thereof, a housing seating of a hydrophobic wall having a tubular shape which is positioned coaxially internally of the core, the hydrophobic wall comprising a support shank, configured such as to be housed in the housing seating and provided with at least a portion of a bypass conduit which enables placing an internal volume of the filter wall in fluid communication with an outlet hole of the cartridge.
FILTER ARRANGEMENT HAVING BURST DISC ARRANGEMENT
A filter arrangement includes a first filter media construction having a burst disc arrangement that is triggerable to rupture and open a flow path through the media construction. The first filter media construction can be oriented within the interior volume of a second filter media construction.
Drain Control Device for a Filter System as well as Filter System with a Drain Control Device
A drain control device for a filter system for filtering a media flow of a first medium and a second medium, wherein the filter system has a collecting chamber collecting the second medium separated from the media flow and provided with a media outlet, has a sensor arrangement with at least a first sensor unit. The first sensor unit detects a filling level of the second medium in the collecting chamber. The first sensor unit has a first optical sensor. One or more shut-off valves are arranged at the media outlet. The first sensor unit is coupled with the one or more shut-off valves to automatically drain the second medium from the collecting chamber through the media outlet when a predetermined filling level of the second medium in the collecting chamber is reached. A filter system with such a drain control device is provided.
Drain Control Device for a Filter System as well as Filter System with a Drain Control Device
A drain control device for a filter system for filtering a media flow of a first medium and a second medium, wherein the second medium separated from the media flow collects in a collecting chamber of the filter system, has sensor arrangement with at least a first sensor unit and a second sensor unit. The first and second sensor units detect a filling level of the second medium in the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units operate based on a different action mechanism, respectively. One or more shut-off valves are arranged at a media outlet of the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units are operatively connected with the one or more shut-off valves to automatically drain the second medium from the collecting chamber through the media outlet when a drain criterion is reached. A filter system with such a drain control device is provided.
Oil draining system
A system includes an oil catch compartment, at least one magnetic stud or rod, a motor compartment, and a switch. The oil catch compartment includes a first end configured for coupling to an oil filter. The at least one magnetic stud or rod is positioned along a sidewall of the oil catch compartment. The motor compartment includes a gearbox shaft and a puncturing device. The gearbox shaft is telescopically coupled to a second end of the oil catch compartment. The puncturing device is coupled to the gearbox shaft and positioned at least partially within the housing of the motor compartment or the oil catch compartment. The switch is formed on an outside surface of a battery compartment and communicatively connected to a motor coupled to the gearbox shaft. The switch is actuatable to cause the motor to advance the puncturing device via the gearbox shaft.
FUEL FILTER DEVICE
A fuel filter device includes a bag-shaped filter member filtering fuel that is drawn into a fuel pump, an inner frame member retaining the filter member in an expanded state, and a mounting member connected to the inner frame member and serving to communicate an internal space of the filter member with an outside. A valve chamber is defined by the inner frame member and the mounting member, and a check valve serving to prevent backflow of fuel is disposed in the valve chamber. The check valve includes a flat-plate shaped valve body having elasticity. The check valve opens against its weight when the fuel pump is operated, and the check valve closes due to its weight when the operation of the fuel pump is stopped.
Wastewater treatment system and method
A system and method for treating wastewater in a reactor of the system at or below a predetermined flow rate and at or above a predetermined temperature is provided. Incoming wastewater in excess of the predetermined flow rate is directed to an equalization basin for storage. Wastewater stored in the equalization basin is directed to the reactor when (a) the temperature of such stored wastewater is equal to or greater than the predetermined temperature and (b) wastewater is received by the system at a rate less than the predetermined flow rate. The method also involves the step of repurposing a lagoon basin of an existing lagoon system to function as the equalization basin. The system may further include an integrated control system for directing wastewater stored in the equalization basin to the reactor when predetermined conditions are met.
STRAINER DEVICE
A strainer device includes a strainer element; a first lid member that covers an upper opening of the strainer element; a second lid member that covers a lower opening of the strainer element and has a fitting hole in a portion surrounded by the strainer element; a delivery pipe protruding upward inside a hydraulic oil tank in a state in which the delivery pipe is fitted into the fitting hole of the second lid member; and a check valve arranged at the first lid member. The check valve includes a valve main body having a valve passage whose one end opens to the internal space of the strainer element and whose other end opens to inside of the hydraulic oil tank; and a valve body which is arranged to be able to move in a vertical direction with respect to a valve seat provided in the valve passage.
